Abstract
This issue is dedicated to the retiring English professor - Dr. O. J. Stevenson. In honour of Dr. Stevenson, a couple of articles recount his 25 years at the College and profile his achievements. The lead article is regarding the visit by the Governor General of Canada, Lord Tweedsmuir. The agricultural articles pertain to the new legislation of agricultural tariffs, the activities of the Canadian Chamber of Agriculture, and fundamentals of plant breeding. Ann Glendinning contributes an article on the question of country versus city living. Other articles report the activities of the International Club and a travel diary from Bermuda.
