    The dataset comprises estimates of six major parameters of the root system architecture model ArchiSimple for 14 bread wheat cultivars grown in several experiment experiments carried out two high-throughput root phenotyping platforms (4MPI at INRAE, UMR AgroEcologie and RootPheAir at UCL) with different growth media and non-destructive imaging systems together with a conventional set-up in the green house in the Montpellier Plant Phenotyping Platforms (M3P, INRAE, UMR LEPSE) with a solid growth medium. Data for the two to three replicate plants in each experiments are reported. The dataset also include daily weather data in each experiment. A detailed description of the plant growth conditions and Methods can be found in theassociated publication.

    Aiming at accelerating the implementation of cumulative risk assessment to pesticide residues, EFSA performed a two‐step prioritisation analysis, on individual pesticides and on target organ systems, that allows to identify (i) low‐priority substances expected to have a marginal contribution to cumulative risk, and (ii) high priority organ systems to be addressed in future cumulative risk assessments. The analysis encompassed 350 substances and 36 raw primary commodities of plant origin surveyed in the monitoring cycle 2019–2021, carried out in 30 population groups, covering 3 age classes, and 17 EU countries. Probabilistic exposure calculations, for chronic and acute effects, were executed on the occurrence and consumption data by a two‐dimensional procedure, modelling variability and uncertainty.     In a series of experiments conducted on broiler chickens, broiler ducks and laying hens, we showed that replacing soybean extract meal in nutrition with the Zulika variety of lupine seed meal had no negative impact on performance, improved health, especially in fattening chickens (natality) and above all, increased the quality of the acquired products (meat, egg yolk). The results indicated that increasing the nutrition quality of the products is given by a change in the composition of muscle fat or egg yolk fat. These changes are characterised by decreasing the content of saturated organic acids and on the contrary, by increasing the content of non-saturated organic acids, which are a part of the fats. Nutrition based on lupine meal significantly increases the fat content, especially the content of n-3 organic acids in the given products and this can be assessed as having a very positive impact. The stated changes in the quality of fat have to do with the unique content of oil contained in the lupine seeds. High-quality protein product (seed) can be obtained by dehusking lupine seeds. This product is comparable to extracted soybean meal of average quality in terms of crude protein content. From a nutritional point of view, the very low content of fiber and fiber fractions, the higher fat content, and also higher brutto energy content can be positively evaluated in the lupine seed. When using dehusked lupine seeds and other lupine products in the feed mixtures prepared for monogastric animals, it is necessary to take into account the specific variety and its nutrient composition.

    Caseous lymphadenitis is a chronic disease that affects small ruminant farms worldwide and causes economic losses to breeders. The disease is caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, which penetrates the lymph nodes of the host and induces the formation of abscesses. This bacterium is able to form a biofilm to protect itself against adverse environmental conditions, disinfectants and antibiotics. In this study, 33 field isolates of the bacterium Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis obtained from nine sheep and goat farms in the Czech Republic were examined. The susceptibility of these isolates to eight antibiotics, which were chosen according to the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) breakpoints for Corynebacterium spp. and according to the spectrum of antibiotics used in individual farms, was investigated. The analyses were also supplemented with tests of the biofilm formation ability of individual isolates and with tests of the sensitivity of these biofilms to a disinfectant based on active chlorine.

    The Monte Carlo Risk Assessment (MCRA) software contains models for human health risk assessment for combined exposure to multiple chemicals via food intake, inhalation and dermal contact. Models are available to address all major areas of risk assessment, including hazard identification, hazard characterisation, (dietary and non-dietary) exposure assessment and risk assessment. The software supports risk assessments for any group of substances, health effect and population. MCRA also contains models following the guidelines and regulatory methodologies of the European Commission and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The MCRA Core library contains the model implementations of the MCRA software that are used in the MCRA Web platform.

    The dataset comprises estimates of six major parameters of the root system architecture model ArchiSimple for 14 bread wheat cultivars grown in several experiment experiments carried out two high-throughput root phenotyping platforms (4MPI at INRAE, UMR AgroEcologie and RootPheAir at UCL) with different growth media and non-destructive imaging systems together with a conventional set-up in the green house in the Montpellier Plant Phenotyping Platforms (M3P, INRAE, UMR LEPSE) with a solid growth medium.     Aiming at accelerating the implementation of cumulative risk assessment to pesticide residues, EFSA performed a two‐step prioritisation analysis, on individual pesticides and on target organ systems, that allows to identify (i) low‐priority substances expected to have a marginal contribution to cumulative risk, and (ii) high priority organ systems to be addressed in future cumulative risk assessments. The analysis encompassed 350 substances and 36 raw primary commodities of plant origin surveyed in the monitoring cycle 2019–2021, carried out in 30 population groups, covering 3 age classes, and 17 EU countries. Probabilistic exposure calculations, for chronic and acute effects, were executed on the occurrence and consumption data by a two‐dimensional procedure, modelling variability and uncertainty.     In a series of experiments conducted on broiler chickens, broiler ducks and laying hens, we showed that replacing soybean extract meal in nutrition with the Zulika variety of lupine seed meal had no negative impact on performance, improved health, especially in fattening chickens (natality) and above all, increased the quality of the acquired products (meat, egg yolk). The results indicated that increasing the nutrition quality of the products is given by a change in the composition of muscle fat or egg yolk fat. These changes are characterised by decreasing the content of saturated organic acids and on the contrary, by increasing the content of non-saturated organic acids, which are a part of the fats. Nutrition based on lupine meal significantly increases the fat content, especially the content of n-3 organic acids in the given products and this can be assessed as having a very positive impact. The stated changes in the quality of fat have to do with the unique content of oil contained in the lupine seeds. High-quality protein product (seed) can be obtained by dehusking lupine seeds. This product is comparable to extracted soybean meal of average quality in terms of crude protein content. From a nutritional point of view, the very low content of fiber and fiber fractions, the higher fat content, and also higher brutto energy content can be positively evaluated in the lupine seed. When using dehusked lupine seeds and other lupine products in the feed mixtures prepared for monogastric animals, it is necessary to take into account the specific variety and its nutrient composition.

    Caseous lymphadenitis is a chronic disease that affects small ruminant farms worldwide and causes economic losses to breeders. The disease is caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, which penetrates the lymph nodes of the host and induces the formation of abscesses. This bacterium is able to form a biofilm to protect itself against adverse environmental conditions, disinfectants and antibiotics. In this study, 33 field isolates of the bacterium Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis obtained from nine sheep and goat farms in the Czech Republic were examined. The susceptibility of these isolates to eight antibiotics, which were chosen according to the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) breakpoints for Corynebacterium spp. and according to the spectrum of antibiotics used in individual farms, was investigated. The analyses were also supplemented with tests of the biofilm formation ability of individual isolates and with tests of the sensitivity of these biofilms to a disinfectant based on active chlorine.

    The Monte Carlo Risk Assessment (MCRA) software contains models for human health risk assessment for combined exposure to multiple chemicals via food intake, inhalation and dermal contact. Models are available to address all major areas of risk assessment, including hazard identification, hazard characterisation, (dietary and non-dietary) exposure assessment and risk assessment. The software supports risk assessments for any group of substances, health effect and population. MCRA also contains models following the guidelines and regulatory methodologies of the European Commission and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The MCRA Core library contains the model implementations of the MCRA software that are used in the MCRA Web platform.
