The surface albedo indicates the ability of the Earth's surface to reflect solar radiation, and it is an important land surface characteristic parameter that affects the radiation and energy balance of the Earth system. This paper presents a surface albedo inversion method for FY-3C MERSI. First, we estimated the narrow-band surface albedo for different surface cover types by using constrained least squares and the RossThick-LiTransit model. Then, we calculated the conversion coefficient of the FY-3C MERSI narrow-band surface albedo to the broad-band surface albedo conversion by using the FY-3C MERSI spectral response function, the 6S radiation transmission model and the USGS spectral library. Finally, we obtained the surface black and white albedo of the four narrow-band and visible-light bands of the FY-3C MERSI, and the spatial resolution of the data is 250m. In the comparative verification experiment, we cross-validated the surface albedo of FY-3C with the surface albedo of MODIS (moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer), CGLS (Copernicus Global Land Service) and GLASS (Global LAnd Surface Satellite). The results show that the correlation coefficient is mostly above 0.75, the overall absolute deviation is 0.068 on average and the minimum root mean square error is 0.02 between the albedo products obtained in this paper and the above three products. Therefore, FY-3C MERSI surface albedo products and MODIS, CGLS, GLASS surface albedo products have good consistency in four narrowband and visible light bands.

This paper describes the principles and methodology to express and calculate bi-directional reflection (BDR) parameters of ground targets by using radioactively decomposed remotely sensed image under the support ofGIS and DTM. The principles and theoretical basis are that the difference of slope and its orientation changes the relative position of pixel ground, sun, and satellite sensor and results in the variety of solar direct radiance of similar pixels. The differences reflect the bi-directional reflectance. The bi-directional reflectance could be studied through the analysis of the difference and its relation with sun position and satellite position under the support of GIS and DTM, using direct radiance digital images. Topics, covered in this paper, include calculation geometrical parameters of BRDF, on both slopes and plains and for both satellite and sun.

This mixed-methods study examines the effects of a tablet-based checklist system on team performance during a dynamic and safety-critical process of trauma resuscitation. We compared team performance from 47 resuscitations that used a paper checklist to that from 47 cases with a digital checklist to determine if digitizing a checklist led to improvements in task completion rates and in how fast the tasks were initiated for 18 most critical assessment and treatment tasks. We also compared if the checklist compliance increased with the digital design. We found that using the digital checklist led to more frequent completions of the initial airway assessment task but fewer completions of ear and lower extremities exams. We did not observe any significant differences in time to task performance, but found increased compliance with the checklist. Although improvements in team performance with the digital checklist were minor, our findings are important because they showed no adverse effects as a result of the digital checklist introduction. We conclude by discussing the takeaways and implications of these results for effective digitization of medical work.

Calibration of microwave radiometer is the procedure and processing to setup a quantitive relationship between the output of the instrument, which usually is the digital sampling of the receiver output voltage, and microwave emission incident on the receiving antenna. Design of the calibration subsystem of a spaceborne microwave radiometer with fixed pointing antennas is described in this paper. The calibration equation is derived based on this design, by modeling the radiative transfer of microwave emissions, from input of the receiving antennas to the output of the calibration switches inside the receivers. Then a calibration experiment is designed to test the calibration model and acquire the calibration coefficients.

Recently, a deep learning based super-resolution (SR) technology has been applied to satellite images to improve spatial resolution and sharpness, and to increase extractable information. In this paper, we propose a no-reference single image super-resolution method that improves the image quality by doubling spatial resolution of Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-3 (K3), achieving a ground sampling distance (GSD) of 0.7 m. When training SR networks, the proposed method generates low-resolution (LR) images by applying the degradation model to K3 images and creates enhanced high-resolution images (HRe) by applying the top and bottom hat transformation to the original high-resolution (HRo) images. As a result of applying SR to the original K3 image, it was possible to obtain an image with improved quality. Additionally, as a result of testing the Baotou area used for satellite image quality evaluation, it was confirmed that the resolution is similar to the spatial resolution of Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-3A (K3A), which is a GSD of 0.55 m.

The potential of UAV-based data for fine-scaled remote sensing applications has been investigated for several years and is still increasing. The presented study is attached to the field of landform mapping. Mapping and extracting of landforms contributes to different sectors such as agriculture, disaster management and nature conservation. In this study recent experiences and results from working in a nature conservation area are presented. The chosen study area ’Haarmoos’ is located southwest of the lake Abtsdorf, Bavaria and is declared under the European wide Natura 2000 network. Optical imagery and terrain data were analyzed in an integrated approach based on object-based image analysis (OBIA). The classification delivered good results. Ditches may be classified well by the presented approach whereas a tradeoff was made between local rule set adaption and applicability to further data sets. The validation of the classification results was based on three steps.

This article proposes hypotheses about the relationship between innovation of management incentive mechanism and corporate performance of listed agricultural companies under “large-scale agriculture”. It selects 238 A-share listed agricultural companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets from 2013 to 2018 as the research objects, and uses multiple linear regression model to perform regression analysis on panel data. The results show that management compensation and management equity incentive are positively correlated with the performance of listed agricultural companies at a 1% significance level. It is concluded that innovation of management incentive mechanism can promote the performance of listed agricultural companies, and the incentive effect of state-owned enterprises is less than that of other enterprises.
