    Authors: Romero Puerta, Oscar Daniel;

    ilustraciones, fotografías El mantenimiento de las condiciones de trabajo en la población laboral es un propósito de los gobiernos y organizaciones en busca del bienestar, de acuerdo con la Organización Internacional de Trabajo (OIT, 2016b) “Las condiciones de trabajo cubren una amplia gama de temas y cuestiones, desde las horas de trabajo (tiempo trabajado, periodos de descanso y horarios de trabajo) hasta la remuneración, como también las condiciones físicas y las demandas mentales que se imponen en el lugar de trabajo”. Según la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT-2019, s. f.) “A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados y de las mejoras logradas en los últimos decenios, los bosques son lugares de trabajo peligrosos. En el sector persisten déficits de trabajo decente, tales como condiciones de trabajo precarias e inseguras, obstáculos al derecho de libertad sindical y al reconocimiento efectivo del derecho de negociación colectiva, medidas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo inadecuadas, baja productividad, remuneración insuficiente, y falta de acceso a la protección social”. Como expresa Estudios de Economía Forestal (Merle & López, 2018) “Colombia es uno de los países más ricos del mundo en términos de biodiversidad, y está generosamente dotado de bosques, aguas y recursos minerales. Explotar su capital natural ha sido y sigue siendo una parte crucial del éxito del desarrollo del país”. No obstante; el banco mundial (Banco Mundial 2016, s. f.) “Destaca entre los principales retos, la capacidad de promover actividades no extractivas para reducir el peso de la actividad petrolera en la economía nacional, y la atención a temáticas ambientales y de resiliencia que condicionarán el desarrollo del país a futuro”. (Texto tomado de la fuente) Maintaining working conditions for the working population is a goal of governments and organizations seeking welfare, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO, 2016b). "Working conditions cover a wide range of issues, from working hours (time worked, rest periods, and work schedules) to compensation, as well as physical conditions and mental demands imposed in the workplace," says the ILO. Despite efforts and improvements made in recent decades, the forestry sector remains a hazardous workplace, with deficits in decent work such as precarious and unsafe working conditions, obstacles to the right to trade union freedom and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, inadequate occupational safety and health measures, low productivity, insufficient remuneration, and lack of access to social protection, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO-2019, n.d.). As expressed by Forest Economics Studies (Merle & López, 2018), "Colombia is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of biodiversity and is generously endowed with forests, waters, and mineral resources. Exploiting its natural capital has been and continues to be a crucial part of the country's development success." However, the World Bank (World Bank 2016, n.d.) highlights among the main challenges the ability to promote non-extractive activities to reduce the weight of the oil activity in the national economy and the attention to environmental and resilience issues that will condition the country's future development. Ninguna Maestría Magíster en Salud y Seguridad en El Trabajo El presente estudio de investigación está planteado desde un abordaje cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Por cuanto se realizó un análisis de las características sociodemográficas de la población laboralmente expuesta a los factores de riesgo en una empresa del sector forestal en la región de la Orinoquía, en los departamentos del Meta y Casanare y así mismo se realizó la identificación de las condiciones de trabajo, caracterizando los peligros y nivel de los riesgos asociados al proceso de reforestación protectora, destacando los factores derivados desde la perspectiva de género. El presente proyecto se enfoca en el análisis de la cadena de suministro de productos agroindustriales orgánicos provenientes del departamento de Santander, Colombia, con destino a la Unión Europea (UE). La producción de alimentos orgánicos en Santander ha experimentado un notable crecimiento en respuesta a la creciente demanda global de productos orgánicos y sostenibles [1]. La UE, como uno de los mercados más grandes y regulados del mundo en este sector, representa una oportunidad estratégica para los productores de la región [2]. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es comprender a fondo los desafíos y oportunidades que enfrenta la cadena de suministro de productos orgánicos de Santander hacia la UE. Para lograrlo, se llevará a cabo un análisis exhaustivo que abarcará aspectos cruciales como la eficiencia logística, la sostenibilidad, la calidad y la regulación, la competitividad en el mercado europeo y las relaciones interorganizacionales. Este proyecto se basa en una metodología que incluye la recopilación de datos primarios y secundarios, entrevistas con actores clave de la cadena de suministro y análisis detallados de los procesos y desafíos existentes en Internet. Con respecto a los datos primarios estos hacen referencia a la información recolectada de manera personal, es decir que el mismo investigador, a través de métodos como la observación y la entrevista, recopilo la información; en contraparte, los datos secundarios hacen referencia a la información suministrada por otros autores por medio de artículos, ensayos, entre otros [3]. Los hallazgos de esta investigación proporcionarán una visión integral de la cadena de suministro y servirán como base para proponer estrategias y recomendaciones concretas para optimizarla y fomentar la exportación sostenible de productos agroindustriales orgánicos de Santander hacia la UE. de imágenes de satélite, supone un gran avance en el estudio de la superficie de la tierra; debido a la heterogeneidad de las estructuras rocosas y las dificultades asociadas a cambios abruptos de topografía, la clasificación convencional tiene un gran componente subjetivo, que en ocasiones puede afectar la precisión del proceso. El objetivo de usar aprendizaje de máquinas para hacer clasificación litología es generar una herramienta que asista el proceso de clasificación y así mejorar los aspectos que puedan limitar los resultados, como suelen ser, optimizar el tiempo de procesamiento, mejorar la precisión de la clasificación, procesar bases de datos más voluminosas (imágenes con mayor resolución espectral y espacial) y cubrir ´áreas de estudio más extensas. La metodología está desarrollada sobre la plataforma de análisis geoespacial con procesamiento en la nube Google Earth Engine (GEE) y está implementada en cuatro fases principales; la primera es generar variables adicionales para el modelo de clasificación supervisada, mediante técnicas estadísticas de transformación de imagen y mejora espectral, como el cálculo de ´índices espectrales geológicos y el análisis de componentes principales (PCA), así como incorporar información topográfica mediante la adición del modelo digital de terrero (DEM) y agregando datos de textura por medio de la matriz de coocurrencia de nivel de grises (GLMC), también se incorporan los resultados del algoritmo de clasificación no supervisada K-means como una variable predictora. La segunda fase consiste en entrenar los algoritmos de aprendizaje supervisado Ramdon Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Classification and Regression Trees (CART), Mini mum Distance (MD) y Naive Bayes (NB) teniendo en cuenta las variables generadas en la primera fase junto información de referencia de campo o Ground Thruth, para reproducir varios modelos de clasificación de los cuales, en la tercera fase, se elige el que produzca mejores métricas de desempeño, generando un modelo de clasificación confiable que en una ´ultima fase se reproduce sobre una zona de superficie con características y litología desconocidas, aportando así información de base para realizar cartografía geológica sin haber requerido presencia de personal in situ. The application of machine learning techniques to perform terrain characterization from satellite images represents a significant advance in the study of the Earth’s surface. Because of the heterogeneity of rock structures and the difficulties associated with abrupt chan ges in topography, conventional classification possesses a large subjective component, which sometimes can affect the accuracy of the process. The desired result of using machine lear ning techniques in Lithological classification is to generate a tool that besides assisting the classification process, also helps to improve the aspects that may limit the results, such as optimizing processing time, increasing classification accuracy, larger data processing (images with higher spectral and temporal resolution) and to cover larger study areas. The metho dology is developed on the geospatial analysis platform with cloud processing Google Earth Engine (GEE) and it is implemented in four main phases: the first one consists of generating additional variables for the supervised classification model using statistical techniques, image transformation, and spectral enhancement, including the calculation of geological spectral indices and Principal Component Analysis (PCA), as well as incorporating topographic in formation through addition of Digital Terrain Model (DEM), adding together texture data through the Gray Level Matrix Co-occurrence (GLMC), and finally incorporate an additional band of the k-means algorithm no supervised classification. The second phase incorporates algorithm training under the supervision of Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Classification and Regression CART and Minimum Distance MD, taking into ac count the variables generated in the first phase together with the field reference information or ground thruth to reproduce several classification models that in the third phase, whichever displays the best performance metrics, is chosen leading to a reliable classification model, then, in the last phase, it will be applied to a surface area with unknown characteristics and lithology providing support information to carry out geological cartography without having required presence of people on site Magister en Estadística Aplicada Maestría

    El proyecto de grado planteado pone en evidencia el déficit de formación para el trabajo que poseen los habitantes de la periferia de Cali, donde muchos de estos, principalmente jóvenes, viven en un entorno donde los índices de pobreza y violencia son altísimos y a su vez la falta de educación y espacios destinados a esta son escasos, impidiendo que estos, culminen sus estudios y no puedan acceder a empleos de mejor calidad. Es por esto que, a través de un proyecto arquitectónico de índole social, se busca diseñar un centro de formación enfocado en la agricultura, en el municipio de Cali, equipado con espacios para el aprendizaje agrícola como talleres, aulas y laboratorios, que favorezcan a habitantes jóvenes de la comuna 21, los cuales les permitan adquirir conocimiento sobre temas agrícolas y los puedan poner en práctica con huertos urbanos que den pie y generen un entorno comercial en la zona. The proposed degree project highlights the lack of training for work that the inhabitants of the periphery of Cali have, where many of them, mainly young people, live in an environment where the rates of poverty and violence are very high and at the same time the lack of education and spaces dedicated to it are scarce, preventing them from completing their studies and not being able to access better quality jobs. This is why, through an architectural project of a social nature, we seek to design a training center focused on agriculture, in the municipality of Cali, equipped with spaces for agricultural learning such as workshops, classrooms and laboratories, which 7 benefit inhabitants. young people from commune 21, which allow them to acquire knowledge about agricultural issues and put it into practice with urban gardens that give rise to and generate a commercial environment in the area Arquitecto Pregrado

    Authors: José Ignacio Campos Naranjo; Germán Forero-Cantor;

    Abstract Changes in the interactions between agents involved in the value chain of the palm oil sector in the municipality of Tibú (Colombia) over the period 1985-2020 have resulted in a reduction in the indices of poverty, social inequality, and unemployment for the inhabitants of the region, which can be explained by a process of socio-technical transition. The main objective of this study is to analyze the factors that determined the success of this process from a multilevel perspective. Exploratory research was developed based on a case study analysis using semi-structured interviews of commercial and non-commercial agents in the sector and information collected from secondary sources. The results show that changes in the legal and regulatory framework established by the government, landscape transformation, and the transition from small farmers to medium entrepreneurs of the farms in the region were important factors revolutionizing the system and are encouraging the emergence of new alternative practices in the palm oil sector.

    Abstract This article shows the results of the study “Virtual Office of 10,000 sustainable peasant farms from the regions of Santander and Magdalena Medio”. The study is framed in a Colombian social movement for the preservation of the peasant farm as pivotal axis for food sustainability in the territories. The study has a principal aim to identify the organization process of fourteen (14) food communities and the participatory design of the peasant farm model as strategies for food security in the Colombian territories of Magdalena Medio and Santander. The study conducted a mixed methodology with both qualitative and descriptive, cross-sectional quantitative analysis with data collected from participant communities. Data collection was done through focus groups with seven (7) communities and fourteen (14) interviews with food community leaders from eleven (11) municipalities in three different Colombian departments. Results show that the peasant organization structure called food community and the peasant farm participatory models for each territory are strategies that have led to the strengthening of the local autonomy of the peasant communities for the defense of food sustainability practices within their contexts.

    Resumen A partir de la inquietud sobre qué factores territoriales pueden ser determinantes en un proceso de Ordenamiento Territorial Agropecuario (OTA) en la subcuenca del Río Limón, un microterritorio en el Alto Catatumbo, al nororiente de Colombia, se realizó, mediante la aplicación de técnicas de evaluación cualitativas y cuantitativas, una revisión de las condiciones del Desarrollo Territorial Rural (DTR), la Gobernanza Territorial (GT), el desempeño de los Sistemas de Producción Agropecuario (SPA), los conflictos Medio Ambientales y las Tensiones Territoriales. La subcuenca es un área compartida entre tres municipios y dos departamentos, presenta una población de alrededor de cinco mil habitantes, en su mayoría rural. La producción agropecuaria es su principal actividad económica y la fuente de un fuerte conflicto de uso del suelo y el agua. Se elaboraron y aplicaron índices compuestos de DTR, GT y de desempeño de los SPA, se revisaron informes ambientales y documentos de planeación municipal. Los resultados indican que los factores determinantes del OTA en la subcuenca se relacionan con bajos niveles de condiciones sociales y una débil Gobernanza Territorial, confirman los conflictos altos de uso del suelo y el agua, y plantea la necesidad de definir objetivamente la visión de largo plazo del territorio.

    Authors: Romero Puerta, Oscar Daniel;

    ilustraciones, fotografías El mantenimiento de las condiciones de trabajo en la población laboral es un propósito de los gobiernos y organizaciones en busca del bienestar, de acuerdo con la Organización Internacional de Trabajo (OIT, 2016b) “Las condiciones de trabajo cubren una amplia gama de temas y cuestiones, desde las horas de trabajo (tiempo trabajado, periodos de descanso y horarios de trabajo) hasta la remuneración, como también las condiciones físicas y las demandas mentales que se imponen en el lugar de trabajo”. Según la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT-2019, s. f.) “A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados y de las mejoras logradas en los últimos decenios, los bosques son lugares de trabajo peligrosos. En el sector persisten déficits de trabajo decente, tales como condiciones de trabajo precarias e inseguras, obstáculos al derecho de libertad sindical y al reconocimiento efectivo del derecho de negociación colectiva, medidas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo inadecuadas, baja productividad, remuneración insuficiente, y falta de acceso a la protección social”. Como expresa Estudios de Economía Forestal (Merle & López, 2018) “Colombia es uno de los países más ricos del mundo en términos de biodiversidad, y está generosamente dotado de bosques, aguas y recursos minerales. Explotar su capital natural ha sido y sigue siendo una parte crucial del éxito del desarrollo del país”. No obstante; el banco mundial (Banco Mundial 2016, s. f.) “Destaca entre los principales retos, la capacidad de promover actividades no extractivas para reducir el peso de la actividad petrolera en la economía nacional, y la atención a temáticas ambientales y de resiliencia que condicionarán el desarrollo del país a futuro”. (Texto tomado de la fuente) Maintaining working conditions for the working population is a goal of governments and organizations seeking welfare, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO, 2016b). "Working conditions cover a wide range of issues, from working hours (time worked, rest periods, and work schedules) to compensation, as well as physical conditions and mental demands imposed in the workplace," says the ILO. Despite efforts and improvements made in recent decades, the forestry sector remains a hazardous workplace, with deficits in decent work such as precarious and unsafe working conditions, obstacles to the right to trade union freedom and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, inadequate occupational safety and health measures, low productivity, insufficient remuneration, and lack of access to social protection, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO-2019, n.d.). As expressed by Forest Economics Studies (Merle & López, 2018), "Colombia is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of biodiversity and is generously endowed with forests, waters, and mineral resources. Exploiting its natural capital has been and continues to be a crucial part of the country's development success." However, the World Bank (World Bank 2016, n.d.) highlights among the main challenges the ability to promote non-extractive activities to reduce the weight of the oil activity in the national economy and the attention to environmental and resilience issues that will condition the country's future development. Ninguna Maestría Magíster en Salud y Seguridad en El Trabajo El presente estudio de investigación está planteado desde un abordaje cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Por cuanto se realizó un análisis de las características sociodemográficas de la población laboralmente expuesta a los factores de riesgo en una empresa del sector forestal en la región de la Orinoquía, en los departamentos del Meta y Casanare y así mismo se realizó la identificación de las condiciones de trabajo, caracterizando los peligros y nivel de los riesgos asociados al proceso de reforestación protectora, destacando los factores derivados desde la perspectiva de género. El presente proyecto se enfoca en el análisis de la cadena de suministro de productos agroindustriales orgánicos provenientes del departamento de Santander, Colombia, con destino a la Unión Europea (UE). La producción de alimentos orgánicos en Santander ha experimentado un notable crecimiento en respuesta a la creciente demanda global de productos orgánicos y sostenibles [1]. La UE, como uno de los mercados más grandes y regulados del mundo en este sector, representa una oportunidad estratégica para los productores de la región [2]. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es comprender a fondo los desafíos y oportunidades que enfrenta la cadena de suministro de productos orgánicos de Santander hacia la UE. Para lograrlo, se llevará a cabo un análisis exhaustivo que abarcará aspectos cruciales como la eficiencia logística, la sostenibilidad, la calidad y la regulación, la competitividad en el mercado europeo y las relaciones interorganizacionales. Este proyecto se basa en una metodología que incluye la recopilación de datos primarios y secundarios, entrevistas con actores clave de la cadena de suministro y análisis detallados de los procesos y desafíos existentes en Internet. Con respecto a los datos primarios estos hacen referencia a la información recolectada de manera personal, es decir que el mismo investigador, a través de métodos como la observación y la entrevista, recopilo la información; en contraparte, los datos secundarios hacen referencia a la información suministrada por otros autores por medio de artículos, ensayos, entre otros [3]. Los hallazgos de esta investigación proporcionarán una visión integral de la cadena de suministro y servirán como base para proponer estrategias y recomendaciones concretas para optimizarla y fomentar la exportación sostenible de productos agroindustriales orgánicos de Santander hacia la UE. Organic food production in Santander has experienced remarkable growth in response to the growing global demand for organic and sustainable products. The EU, as one of the largest and most regulated markets in the world in this sector, represents a strategic opportunity for producers in the region. The main objective of this research is to gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the supply chain of organic products from Santander to the EU. To achieve this, a comprehensive analysis will be carried out covering crucial aspects such as logistical efficiency, sustainability, quality and regulation, competitiveness in the European market and inter-organizational relationships. This project is based on a methodology that includes primary and secondary data collection, interviews with key supply chain actors and detailed analyses of existing processes and challenges. The findings of this research will provide a comprehensive view of the supply chain and will serve as a basis for proposing concrete strategies and recommendations to optimize it and promote the sustainable export of organic agro-industrial products from Santander to the EU. de imágenes de satélite, supone un gran avance en el estudio de la superficie de la tierra; debido a la heterogeneidad de las estructuras rocosas y las dificultades asociadas a cambios abruptos de topografía, la clasificación convencional tiene un gran componente subjetivo, que en ocasiones puede afectar la precisión del proceso.
