    Authors: Muñoz Acuña, Javier Manuel;

    Los rápidos y profundos avances en tecnologías digitales, junto con un nuevo marco de exigencias sociales y laborales que se impone a nivel global, han impulsado cambios en la forma de entender y gestionar las organizaciones de todo tipo quienes se han visto obligadas a transformarse internamente para adaptarse a las circunstancias que prevalecen en el entorno con el que interactúan. Por supuesto, las instituciones educativas no han estado al margen de este proceso y, en el caso de las universidades, la urgencia de transformación es aún mayor si se considera su rol como formadores de los nuevos profesionales que ingresan al mercado de trabajo, y como entes por excelencia para la generación del conocimiento en las más diversas disciplinas académicas. Muchas universidades se han comprometido con una estrategia de transformación que responda a la necesidad de mantenerse competitivas para cumplir con su misión social, pero en el caso chileno, y más concretamente en la Universidad Autónoma de Chile, hasta la fecha no se han encontrado estudios que analicen los factores implícitos en los procesos de transformación que deben llevar a cabo. Esta circunstancia, junto con el reconocimiento de que es necesario actuar de manera perentoria para modernizar sus procesos académicos y administrativos con el fin de adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos y elevar la satisfacción de sus estudiantes, ha motivado la realización de esta investigación orientada a diseñar un modelo de transformación digital acorde con las creencias y expectativas del estudiantado y del profesorado de esa Universidad. Previa realización de un análisis bibliométrico que refleja el creciente interés mundial sobre este objeto de estudio, y mediante la combinación de técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas se recopilaron datos que permitieron identificar nueve dimensiones y 54 indicadores que constituyen la base del modelo de transformación digital de la Universidad Autónoma de Chile. Dicho modelo fue validado empíricamente mediante un sistema de ecuaciones estructurales habiéndose demostrado, además, su impacto en el incremento potencial de la satisfacción del estudiante y, consecuentemente, en el aumento de su lealtad hacia la institución. Los productos de la investigación se sintetizan en cuatro artículos científicos que dan cuenta de la complejidad inherente a este objeto de estudio, y que representan un aporte a la literatura al establecer de forma clara las orientaciones que impulsan el éxito en la obtención, utilización e integración de las tecnologías disponibles, a fin de elevar el grado de madurez digital de la Universidad y manteniendo el centro de atención en la experiencia del estudiante. La tesis finaliza mostrando un conjunto de recomendaciones, tanto desde la perspectiva científica como no científica, orientadas a profundizar en el conocimiento e implicaciones de los procesos de transformación digital universitaria. Els ràpids i profunds avenços en tecnologies digitals, juntament amb un nou marc d'exigències socials i laborals que s'imposa a nivell global, han impulsat canvis en la manera d'entendre i gestionar les organitzacions de tota mena els qui s'han vist obligades a transformar-se internament adaptar-se a les circumstàncies que prevalen a l'entorn amb l'interactuen. Per descomptat, les institucions educatives no han estat al marge d'aquest procés i, en el cas de les universitats, la urgència de transformació és encara més gran si es considera el seu rol com a formadors dels nous professionals que ingressen al mercat de treball, i com ens per excel·lència per a la generació del coneixement en les més diverses disciplines acadèmiques. Moltes universitats s'han compromès amb una estratègia de transformació que respongui a la necessitat de mantenir-se competitives per complir la seva missió social, però en el cas xilè, i més concretament a la Universitat Autònoma de Xile, fins ara no s'han trobat estudis que analitzin els factors implícits en els processos de transformació que han de dur a terme. Aquesta circumstància, juntament amb el reconeixement que cal actuar de manera peremptòria per modernitzar els seus processos acadèmics i administratius per tal d'adaptar-se als nous temps i elevar la satisfacció dels seus estudiants, ha motivat la realització d'aquesta recerca orientada a dissenyar un model de transformació digital d'acord amb les creences i les expectatives de l'estudiantat i del professorat d'aquesta Universitat. Amb la realització prèvia d'una anàlisi bibliomètrica que reflecteix l'interès mundial creixent sobre aquest objecte d'estudi, i mitjançant la combinació de tècniques quantitatives i qualitatives es van recopilar dades que van permetre identificar nou dimensions i 54 indicadors que constitueixen la base del model de transformació digital de l'Universitat Autònoma de Xile. Aquest model va ser validat empíricament mitjançant un sistema d'equacions estructurals i s'ha demostrat, a més, el seu impacte en l'increment potencial de la satisfacció de l'estudiant i, consegüentment, en l'augment de la lleialtat cap a la institució. Els productes de la recerca se sintetitzen en quatre articles científics que donen compte de la complexitat inherent a aquest objecte d'estudi, i que representen una aportació a la literatura en establir de manera clara les orientacions que impulsen l'èxit en l'obtenció, la utilització i la integració de les tecnologies disponibles, per elevar el grau de maduresa digital de la Universitat i mantenint el centre detenció en l’experiència de l’estudiant. La tesi finalitza mostrant un conjunt de recomanacions, tant des de la perspectiva científica com no científica, orientades a aprofundir en el coneixement i les implicacions dels processos de transformació digital universitària. The rapid and profound advances in digital technologies, together with a new framework of social and labor demands that is imposed at a global level, have driven changes in the way of understanding and managing organizations of all types who have been forced to transform internally to adapt to the circumstances that prevail in the environment with which they interact. Of course, educational institutions have not been left out of this process and, in the case of universities, the urgency of transformation is even greater if one considers their role as trainers of new professionals entering the labor market, and as entities par excellence for the generation of knowledge in the most diverse academic disciplines. Many universities have committed to a transformation strategy that responds to the need to remain competitive to fulfill their social mission, but in the Chilean case, and more specifically in the Autonomous University of Chile, to date no studies have been found that analyze the factors implicit in the transformation processes that they must carry out. This circumstance, together with the recognition that it is necessary to act urgently to modernize its academic and administrative processes to adapt to new times and increase the satisfaction of its students, has motivated the carrying out of this research aimed at designing a digital transformation model in accordance with the beliefs and expectations of the students and faculty of that University. After carrying out a bibliometric analysis that reflects the growing global interest in this object of study, and through the combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques, data was collected that allowed the identification of nine dimensions and 54 indicators that constitute the basis of the digital transformation model of the Autonomous University of Chile. This model was empirically validated through a system of structural equations, and its impact on the potential increase in student satisfaction and, consequently, in the increase in their loyalty to the institution has also been demonstrated. The research products are synthesized in four scientific articles that account for the complexity inherent in this object of study, and that represent a contribution to the literature by clearly establishing the guidelines that drive success in obtaining, using, and integrating of the available technologies, to raise the degree of digital maturity of the University and keeping the focus on the student experience. The thesis ends by showing a set of recommendations, both from a scientific and non-scientific perspective, aimed at deepening the knowledge and implications of university digital transformation processes.

    Authors: Ortiz Alarcón, Ivan;

    The main objective at this project is to create a software that makes the Comparation/Validation exercise between two LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systems. Those systems, although they are equivalent conceptually, they apply different technology. The first system was developed by CommSensLab group from UPC (participants in the creation of EARLINET); on the other hand, SigmaSpace, another business under Godard Space Flight Center specifications (belonging to NASA), that manage the MPLnet network following the Micro-Pulse LiDAR concept. Both have the same purpose; they measure the atmosphere aerosols. The comparation between the MPLnet LiDAR system and the one that will be used at the EarthCARE mission will be realized in a later phase, outside the scopes of this project. The software pretends to intercompare the Earlinet lidar from UPC with a MPLnet system. To achieve this objective, it has been used MATLAB tool, since we can find some functions that facilitate the work when we are reading the type of file is used to save all the information obtained from the lidar systems. Lidar systems use the format NetCDF to save all the data. There have been created some functions to make the main code cleaner as possible. Also, it has been used GUIs (Graphic User Interface) that are the windows that the user can see when is using the software. It has been achieved an automatic download of all the necessary files that the user needs to start the comparation between the systems. When the files are downloaded, plots can be generated where the user can see the comparation between the systems in specific parameters that are interesting to compare. Those parameters are backscatter, extinction, volume depolarization, particle depolarization and range corrected signal. Also, it has been implemented the option to create a Word report with all the plots selected by the user and each one of the plots with a caption that describes the necessary information. The figures used at the report are saved in a folder with all the formats that MATLAB allows.

    Aquest Projecte es submergeix en la creació d'un bessó digital per a un registrador de temperatura i humitat intel·ligent, enfocant-se en la seva investigació, especificació, disseny i implementació. Aquest dispositiu recopila dades en temps real, a més d'establir connexions a una xarxa mòbil i transmetre informació cap al núvol. L'essència del Projecte radica en la creació d'una eina especialitzada que simula digitalment les funcions d'un registrador físic NB-IoT fabricat per AKO Electromecànica S.A.L. Configurat per replicar les condicions d'entorns de refrigeració industrials o comercials, aquest simulador aspira a virtualitzar un producte IoT, recreant amb precisió la intel·ligència i les condicions d'un dispositiu físic real. A més, incorpora la capacitat de transmetre dades al servei al núvol AKONET.Cloud, on es poden visualitzar les seves dades. El Projecte es divideix principalment en dues parts. En la primera s'explica què és un Digital Twin, es dona el context d'AKO (empresa en la qual s'ha desenvolupat el Projecte), i es comenten les tecnologies que fa servir. La segona part descriu el programari desenvolupat: un motor de simulació versàtil, ampliable i portàtil, amb una interfície independent i complementària. Es justifiquen també les decisions de disseny i arquitectura de programari i l'elecció de tecnologies com TypeScript per al conjunt de l'aplicació, i Angular en particular per al Frontend. El distribuïble de l'aplicació, a més, fa servir Docker i Docker Compose, la qual cosa facilita la instal·lació entre diferents ordinadors o fins i tot en un servidor dedicat a les simulacions. El simulador és més que un projecte teòric. Durant el seu desenvolupament ja s'ha fet servir amb èxit en algunes de les aplicacions previstes dins d'AKO, com el desenvolupament i testatge de noves funcionalitats i requisits tècnics, la integració de productes, manteniment i millora constant de la plataforma Cloud. Finalment, es destaca que els assoliments aconseguits en aq Este Proyecto se sumerge en la creación de un gemelo digital para un registrador de temperatura y humedad inteligente, enfocándose en su investigación, especificación, diseño e implementación.     Authors: Fernández Cides, Joel;

    Este proyecto tiene como objetivo principal la generación eficiente de corriente eléctrica a través de un sistema integrado compuesto por un electrolizador y una pila de combustible. La clave de este proceso radica en la descomposición del agua, donde el electrolizador realiza la separación del oxígeno e hidrógeno, y la pila de combustible utiliza estos elementos para llevar a cabo reacciones de reducción y oxidación, generando así energía eléctrica de manera sostenible. La eficiencia de todo el sistema se maximiza mediante la implementación de un sistema de monitorización constante. Este control exhaustivo se lleva a cabo mediante una red de sensores estratégicamente ubicados, actuadores y otros componentes electrónicos. La interconexión de estos elementos se logra mediante un microcontrolador y tecnología IoT, permitiendo un control preciso y en tiempo real de cada componente del sistema. El diseño de este proyecto ha sido meticuloso, abarcando desde la selección y estudio detallado de los sensores y actuadores hasta la comprensión profunda de las propiedades del hidrógeno y el funcionamiento intrínseco de las pilas de combustible y el electrolizador. Además, se ha llevado a cabo el diseño de una placa electrónica PCB que compacta todos estos elementos en un espacio reducido, garantizando que cada componente cumpla una función esencial para el correcto funcionamiento del sistema. Una vez implementado, el sistema recopila datos continuos a través del sistema de control. Estos datos son sometidos a análisis para evaluar la eficiencia del sistema en términos de generación de energía. Este enfoque analítico no solo permite verificar la funcionalidad del sistema, sino también proporciona información para posibles mejoras del proyecto. En resumen, este proyecto no solo busca generar energía de manera sostenible, sino también garantizar un control eficiente y ayudar a la mejora en la implementación de esta tecnología. Aquest projecte té com objectiu principal la generació eficient del corrent elèctric a travès d'un sistema integrat composat per un electrolitzador i una pila de combustible. La clau d'aquest procès rau en la descomposició de l'aigua, on l'electrolitzador realitza la separació de l'oxígen i hidrogen i la pila de combustible utilitza aquest elements per portar a cau reaccions de reducció y oxidació, generant d'aquesta manera energía elèctrica de manera sostenible. L'eficiència de tot al sistema es maximitza mitjançant l'implementació d'un sistema de monitorització constant. Aquest control exhaustiu es porta a cau mitjançant una xarxa de sensors estratègicament ubicats, actuadors i altres components electrònics. La interconnexió de aquests elements s'aconsegueix fent ús d'un microcontrolador i tecnología IoT, permetent un control precís i en temps real de cada component del sistema. El disseny d'aquest projecte ha estat meticulòs, abarcant des de la selecció i estudi detallat dels sensors i actuadors incloent la comprensió profunda de las propietats de l'hidrogen i el funcionament intrínsec de las pilas de combustible i l'electrolitzador. A més, s'ha dut a terme el disseny d'una placa electrònica PCB que compacta tots aquests elements a un espai reduït, garantizant que cada component compleix una funció essencial pel correcte funcionament del sistema. Un cop implementat, el sistema recopila dades continues a travès del sistema de control. Aquestes dades son sotmeses a un anàlisis per avaluar la eficiència del sistema en termes de generació d'energia. Aquesta perspectiva analítica, no només permet verificar la funcionalitat del sistema, sinó que també proporciona informació per possibles milloras del projecte. En resum, aquest projecte no només cerca generar energia de manera sostenible, sinó que també garantitzar un control eficient i ajudar a la millora en l'implementació d'aquesta tecnología. This project aims to efficiently generate electrical current through an integrated system consisting of an electrolyzer and a fuel cell. The key to this process lies in the decomposition of water, where the electrolyzer separates it into oxygen and hydrogen, and the fuel cell utilizes these elements to undergo reduction and oxidation reactions, thereby generating electrical energy sustainably. The efficiency of the entire system is maximized through the implementation of a continuous monitoring system. This thorough control is carried out using a network of strategically placed sensors, actuators, and other crucial electronic components. The interconnection of these elements is achieved through a microcontroller and IoT technology, enabling precise and real-time control of each component of the system. The design of this project has been meticulous, covering everything from the selection and detailed study of sensors and actuators to a deep understanding of the properties of hydrogen and the intrinsic functioning of fuel cells and electrolyzers. Additionally, the design of a PCB electronic board has been executed, compacting all these elements into a confined space, ensuring that each component serves an essential function for the proper operation of the system. Once implemented, the system collects continuous data through the control system. These data are subjected to analysis to evaluate the efficiency of the system in terms of energy generation. This analytical approach not only verifies the functionality of the system but also provides insights for potential improvements to the project. In summary, this project not only aims to generate energy sustainably but also to ensure efficient control and contribute to the continuous improvement in the implementation of this technology.

    Authors: Casas Díez, Víctor;

    En un mundo cada vez más globalizado y en el que el tiempo es oro, se genera la necesidad de estar conectados a todo y con todos. El Internet de las Cosas (IoT) es una tendencia tecnológica revolucionaria que está transformando la forma en que interactuamos con el mundo que nos rodea. Por esta razón en este proyecto se propuso la idea de conocer más sobre este tipo de tecnología y comprobar cuan eficaz puede llegar a ser. Por lo tanto, emplearemos el uso de un módem que nos permitirá conectarnos a un conjunto de satélites que se mueven constantemente alrededor de la Tierra y, cuyo movimiento podemos predecir en función de la ubicación en la que nos encontremos. El objetivo principal es comprobar la eficacia de las transmisiones de datos a través del módem además de la ayuda del entorno LabVIEW que nos servirá para automatizar y agilizar más el proceso. La primera fase constará de una toma de contacto inicial donde hablaremos de las características del módem y las funciones que nos ofrece tanto éste como el portal o página web que nos recopila las transmisiones que han llegado con éxito. Realizaremos unas pruebas utilizando la función de la predicción del satélite a través de las coordenadas que nosotros indiquemos y plantearemos la hipótesis sobre si realmente necesitamos automatizar el proceso a través de una aplicación. Una vez planteada la hipótesis, hay que tener en cuenta que este módem ofrece una serie de comandos de programación que tienen distintas funciones, sin embargo, para poder hacer uso de éstos es necesario escribirlos de forma manual a través del puerto serie. Por este motivo se explicará el diseño de las primeras aplicaciones de prueba hechas en LabVIEW que se plantearán con la intención de comparar cuántos mensajes llegan teniendo en cuenta si se envían de forma manual o de forma automática. Estas aplicaciones son capaces de ejecutar estos comandos de forma automática y recopilar los datos que se envían correctamente, mejorando así el método de transmisión y aumentando el número de mensajes recibidos por los satélites. Contestada la hipótesis anterior, pasaremos a la segunda fase que consistirá en la explicación del entorno de LabVIEW y su función en este proyecto. Se hablará de las herramientas que se utilizan dentro del programa, las funciones que nos sirven para modificar el flujo de datos, los tipos de datos y las estructuras que generan casos y bucles, todo ello para implementar adecuadamente la automatización del proceso de transmisión. En la tercera fase implementaremos los comandos del módem en forma de API para poner en práctica lo aprendido en la segunda fase y para su uso posterior en las aplicaciones principales. Una vez hemos creado los comandos, desde la cuarta fase generaremos la primera aplicación que nos transmitirá los datos a través de una máquina de estados recopilando y volcando la información de los mensajes en una tabla para su comparación posterior. Seguidamente en la quinta fase crearemos la segunda aplicación que descargará los mensajes que han llegado de forma óptima a través de un protocolo de comunicación y se recopilarán en una tabla al igual que en la cuarta fase. De esta manera podremos localizar los datos que nosotros queramos sin necesidad de acceder al historial encontrado en el portal. Finalmente, en la sexta fase se formará la tercera y última aplicación que comparará los datos recopilados en ambas aplicaciones y se comprobará qué mensajes se han enviado correctamente y cuáles no. A partir de ahí se planteará la conclusión sobre el estudio de la efectividad de las transmisiones por el módem y qué factores hay que tener en cuenta para un envío más efectivo de datos. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological revolutionary tendency which is transforming the way we interact with the world that surrounds us. By this premise, the idea of this project was proposed in order to know more about this kind of technology and check how efficient it can be. With that said, we will use a modem that will allow us to communicate to a set of satellites that move constantly around the Earth with a movement which can be predicted by setting the location where we are making the transmition. The main aim is to check the efficiency of the data transmission through the modem with the help of the program LabVIEW that will serve us to automate and speed up the process. The first phase will consist of a first contact where we will explain the characteristics and the functions that offer not only the modem but also the access of the web page that compilates the transmissions that have arrived successfully. We will make some initial tests using the satellite pass prediction function through the coordinates we indicate initially and also will make an hypothesis that poses the need to automate the process through an application or not. Once we pose the hypothesis, it is essential to remark that this modem offers a series of programming commands that have different results; however, in order to be able to use them it is necessary to execute them manually through a serial port. That is why it will be explained the design of the first test applications and how they were made with the intention of comparing how many messages arrive considering whether they are sent manually or automatically. These applications can execute these commands automatically and collecting the data that is sent correctly, thus improving the transmission method, and increasing the number of messages received by the satellite. The second phase will consist of explaining the LabVIEW environment and what its function will be in this project. We will talk about the tools used within the program, the functions that help us modify the data flow, the type of data and the structures that generate cases and loops. In the third phase we will implement the modem commands in the form of an API to put into practice what we learned in the second phase just to use them for later in the main applications. Once we have created the commands, in the fourth phase we will generate the first application that will transmit the data to us through a state machine, collecting the message information from a table for later comparison. Next, in the fifth phase we will create the second application that will download the messages that have arrived properly through a communication protocol and will be compiled in a table just like in the fourth phase. In this way we can locate the data we want without having to access the historical messages that can be found in the web page. Finally, in the sixth phase, the third and final application will be formed that will compare the data collected in both applications and check which messages have been sent correctly and which have not. From there, the conclusion will be drawn on the study of the effectiveness of modem transmissions and which factors must be considered for a more appropriate sending of data. Assaig per demostrar la idoneïtat de l'automatització en la transmissió de dades a satèl·lits a través de la creació d'un sistema format per 3 aplicacions a l'entorn LabVIEW per a la seva posterior funció a l'hora de posar-lo en funcionament realitzant proves a temps real i descobrint quines són els factors essencials per a una millora deficiència en la comunicació i enviament de missatges.

    ilustraciones, fotografías El mantenimiento de las condiciones de trabajo en la población laboral es un propósito de los gobiernos y organizaciones en busca del bienestar, de acuerdo con la Organización Internacional de Trabajo (OIT, 2016b) “Las condiciones de trabajo cubren una amplia gama de temas y cuestiones, desde las horas de trabajo (tiempo trabajado, periodos de descanso y horarios de trabajo) hasta la remuneración, como también las condiciones físicas y las demandas mentales que se imponen en el lugar de trabajo”. Según la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT-2019, s. f.) “A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados y de las mejoras logradas en los últimos decenios, los bosques son lugares de trabajo peligrosos. En el sector persisten déficits de trabajo decente, tales como condiciones de trabajo precarias e inseguras, obstáculos al derecho de libertad sindical y al reconocimiento efectivo del derecho de negociación colectiva, medidas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo inadecuadas, baja productividad, remuneración insuficiente, y falta de acceso a la protección social”. Como expresa Estudios de Economía Forestal (Merle & López, 2018) “Colombia es uno de los países más ricos del mundo en términos de biodiversidad, y está generosamente dotado de bosques, aguas y recursos minerales. Explotar su capital natural ha sido y sigue siendo una parte crucial del éxito del desarrollo del país”. No obstante; el banco mundial (Banco Mundial 2016, s. f.) “Destaca entre los principales retos, la capacidad de promover actividades no extractivas para reducir el peso de la actividad petrolera en la economía nacional, y la atención a temáticas ambientales y de resiliencia que condicionarán el desarrollo del país a futuro”. (Texto tomado de la fuente) Maintaining working conditions for the working population is a goal of governments and organizations seeking welfare, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO, 2016b). "Working conditions cover a wide range of issues, from working hours (time worked, rest periods, and work schedules) to compensation, as well as physical conditions and mental demands imposed in the workplace," says the ILO. Despite efforts and improvements made in recent decades, the forestry sector remains a hazardous workplace, with deficits in decent work such as precarious and unsafe working conditions, obstacles to the right to trade union freedom and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, inadequate occupational safety and health measures, low productivity, insufficient remuneration, and lack of access to social protection, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO-2019, n.d.). As expressed by Forest Economics Studies (Merle & López, 2018), "Colombia is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of biodiversity and is generously endowed with forests, waters, and mineral resources. Exploiting its natural capital has been and continues to be a crucial part of the country's development success." However, the World Bank (World Bank 2016, n.d.) highlights among the main challenges the ability to promote non-extractive activities to reduce the weight of the oil activity in the national economy and the attention to environmental and resilience issues that will condition the country's future development. Ninguna Maestría Magíster en Salud y Seguridad en El Trabajo El presente estudio de investigación está planteado desde un abordaje cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Por cuanto se realizó un análisis de las características sociodemográficas de la población laboralmente expuesta a los factores de riesgo en una empresa del sector forestal en la región de la Orinoquía, en los departamentos del Meta y Casanare y así mismo se realizó la identificación de las condiciones de trabajo, caracterizando los peligros y nivel de los riesgos asociados al proceso de reforestación protectora, destacando los factores derivados desde la perspectiva de género.     Authors: Muñoz Acuña, Javier Manuel;

    Los rápidos y profundos avances en tecnologías digitales, junto con un nuevo marco de exigencias sociales y laborales que se impone a nivel global, han impulsado cambios en la forma de entender y gestionar las organizaciones de todo tipo quienes se han visto obligadas a transformarse internamente para adaptarse a las circunstancias que prevalecen en el entorno con el que interactúan. Por supuesto, las instituciones educativas no han estado al margen de este proceso y, en el caso de las universidades, la urgencia de transformación es aún mayor si se considera su rol como formadores de los nuevos profesionales que ingresan al mercado de trabajo, y como entes por excelencia para la generación del conocimiento en las más diversas disciplinas académicas. Muchas universidades se han comprometido con una estrategia de transformación que responda a la necesidad de mantenerse competitivas para cumplir con su misión social, pero en el caso chileno, y más concretamente en la Universidad Autónoma de Chile, hasta la fecha no se han encontrado estudios que analicen los factores implícitos en los procesos de transformación que deben llevar a cabo. Esta circunstancia, junto con el reconocimiento de que es necesario actuar de manera perentoria para modernizar sus procesos académicos y administrativos con el fin de adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos y elevar la satisfacción de sus estudiantes, ha motivado la realización de esta investigación orientada a diseñar un modelo de transformación digital acorde con las creencias y expectativas del estudiantado y del profesorado de esa Universidad. Previa realización de un análisis bibliométrico que refleja el creciente interés mundial sobre este objeto de estudio, y mediante la combinación de técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas se recopilaron datos que permitieron identificar nueve dimensiones y 54 indicadores que constituyen la base del modelo de transformación digital de la Universidad Autónoma de Chile. Dicho modelo fue validado empíricamente mediante un sistema de ecuaciones estructurales habiéndose demostrado, además, su impacto en el incremento potencial de la satisfacción del estudiante y, consecuentemente, en el aumento de su lealtad hacia la institución. Los productos de la investigación se sintetizan en cuatro artículos científicos que dan cuenta de la complejidad inherente a este objeto de estudio, y que representan un aporte a la literatura al establecer de forma clara las orientaciones que impulsan el éxito en la obtención, utilización e integración de las tecnologías disponibles, a fin de elevar el grado de madurez digital de la Universidad y manteniendo el centro de atención en la experiencia del estudiante. La tesis finaliza mostrando un conjunto de recomendaciones, tanto desde la perspectiva científica como no científica, orientadas a profundizar en el conocimiento e implicaciones de los procesos de transformación digital universitaria. Els ràpids i profunds avenços en tecnologies digitals, juntament amb un nou marc d'exigències socials i laborals que s'imposa a nivell global, han impulsat canvis en la manera d'entendre i gestionar les organitzacions de tota mena els qui s'han vist obligades a transformar-se internament adaptar-se a les circumstàncies que prevalen a l'entorn amb l'interactuen. Per descomptat, les institucions educatives no han estat al marge d'aquest procés i, en el cas de les universitats, la urgència de transformació és encara més gran si es considera el seu rol com a formadors dels nous professionals que ingressen al mercat de treball, i com ens per excel·lència per a la generació del coneixement en les més diverses disciplines acadèmiques. Moltes universitats s'han compromès amb una estratègia de transformació que respongui a la necessitat de mantenir-se competitives per complir la seva missió social, però en el cas xilè, i més concretament a la Universitat Autònoma de Xile, fins ara no s'han trobat estudis que analitzin els factors implícits en els processos de transformació que han de dur a terme. Aquesta circumstància, juntament amb el reconeixement que cal actuar de manera peremptòria per modernitzar els seus processos acadèmics i administratius per tal d'adaptar-se als nous temps i elevar la satisfacció dels seus estudiants, ha motivat la realització d'aquesta recerca orientada a dissenyar un model de transformació digital d'acord amb les creences i les expectatives de l'estudiantat i del professorat d'aquesta Universitat. Amb la realització prèvia d'una anàlisi bibliomètrica que reflecteix l'interès mundial creixent sobre aquest objecte d'estudi, i mitjançant la combinació de tècniques quantitatives i qualitatives es van recopilar dades que van permetre identificar nou dimensions i 54 indicadors que constitueixen la base del model de transformació digital de l'Universitat Autònoma de Xile. Aquest model va ser validat empíricament mitjançant un sistema d'equacions estructurals i s'ha demostrat, a més, el seu impacte en l'increment potencial de la satisfacció de l'estudiant i, consegüentment, en l'augment de la lleialtat cap a la institució. Els productes de la recerca se sintetitzen en quatre articles científics que donen compte de la complexitat inherent a aquest objecte d'estudi, i que representen una aportació a la literatura en establir de manera clara les orientacions que impulsen l'èxit en l'obtenció, la utilització i la integració de les tecnologies disponibles, per elevar el grau de maduresa digital de la Universitat i mantenint el centre detenció en l’experiència de l’estudiant. La tesi finalitza mostrant un conjunt de recomanacions, tant des de la perspectiva científica com no científica, orientades a aprofundir en el coneixement i les implicacions dels processos de transformació digital universitària. The rapid and profound advances in digital technologies, together with a new framework of social and labor demands that is imposed at a global level, have driven changes in the way of understanding and managing organizations of all types who have been forced to transform internally to adapt to the circumstances that prevail in the environment with which they interact. Of course, educational institutions have not been left out of this process and, in the case of universities, the urgency of transformation is even greater if one considers their role as trainers of new professionals entering the labor market, and as entities par excellence for the generation of knowledge in the most diverse academic disciplines. Many universities have committed to a transformation strategy that responds to the need to remain competitive to fulfill their social mission, but in the Chilean case, and more specifically in the Autonomous University of Chile, to date no studies have been found that analyze the factors implicit in the transformation processes that they must carry out. This circumstance, together with the recognition that it is necessary to act urgently to modernize its academic and administrative processes to adapt to new times and increase the satisfaction of its students, has motivated the carrying out of this research aimed at designing a digital transformation model in accordance with the beliefs and expectations of the students and faculty of that University. After carrying out a bibliometric analysis that reflects the growing global interest in this object of study, and through the combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques, data was collected that allowed the identification of nine dimensions and 54 indicators that constitute the basis of the digital transformation model of the Autonomous University of Chile. This model was empirically validated through a system of structural equations, and its impact on the potential increase in student satisfaction and, consequently, in the increase in their loyalty to the institution has also been demonstrated. The research products are synthesized in four scientific articles that account for the complexity inherent in this object of study, and that represent a contribution to the literature by clearly establishing the guidelines that drive success in obtaining, using, and integrating of the available technologies, to raise the degree of digital maturity of the University and keeping the focus on the student experience. The thesis ends by showing a set of recommendations, both from a scientific and non-scientific perspective, aimed at deepening the knowledge and implications of university digital transformation processes.

    Authors: Ortiz Alarcón, Ivan;

    Este proyecto tiene como objetivo principal la generación eficiente de corriente eléctrica a través de un sistema integrado compuesto por un electrolizador y una pila de combustible. La clave de este proceso radica en la descomposición del agua, donde el electrolizador realiza la separación del oxígeno e hidrógeno, y la pila de combustible utiliza estos elementos para llevar a cabo reacciones de reducción y oxidación, generando así energía eléctrica de manera sostenible. La eficiencia de todo el sistema se maximiza mediante la implementación de un sistema de monitorización constante. Este control exhaustivo se lleva a cabo mediante una red de sensores estratégicamente ubicados, actuadores y otros componentes electrónicos. La interconexión de estos elementos se logra mediante un microcontrolador y tecnología IoT, permitiendo un control preciso y en tiempo real de cada componente del sistema. El diseño de este proyecto ha sido meticuloso, abarcando desde la selección y estudio detallado de los sensores y actuadores hasta la comprensión profunda de las propiedades del hidrógeno y el funcionamiento intrínseco de las pilas de combustible y el electrolizador. Además, se ha llevado a cabo el diseño de una placa electrónica PCB que compacta todos estos elementos en un espacio reducido, garantizando que cada componente cumpla una función esencial para el correcto funcionamiento del sistema. Una vez implementado, el sistema recopila datos continuos a través del sistema de control. Estos datos son sometidos a análisis para evaluar la eficiencia del sistema en términos de generación de energía. Este enfoque analítico no solo permite verificar la funcionalidad del sistema, sino también proporciona información para posibles mejoras del proyecto. En resumen, este proyecto no solo busca generar energía de manera sostenible, sino también garantizar un control eficiente y ayudar a la mejora en la implementación de esta tecnología. Aquest projecte té com objectiu principal la generació eficient del corrent elèctric a travès d'un sistema integrat composat per un electrolitzador i una pila de combustible. La clau d'aquest procès rau en la descomposició de l'aigua, on l'electrolitzador realitza la separació de l'oxígen i hidrogen i la pila de combustible utilitza aquest elements per portar a cau reaccions de reducció y oxidació, generant d'aquesta manera energía elèctrica de manera sostenible. L'eficiència de tot al sistema es maximitza mitjançant l'implementació d'un sistema de monitorització constant. Aquest control exhaustiu es porta a cau mitjançant una xarxa de sensors estratègicament ubicats, actuadors i altres components electrònics. La interconnexió de aquests elements s'aconsegueix fent ús d'un microcontrolador i tecnología IoT, permetent un control precís i en temps real de cada component del sistema. El disseny d'aquest projecte ha estat meticulòs, abarcant des de la selecció i estudi detallat dels sensors i actuadors incloent la comprensió profunda de las propietats de l'hidrogen i el funcionament intrínsec de las pilas de combustible i l'electrolitzador. A més, s'ha dut a terme el disseny d'una placa electrònica PCB que compacta tots aquests elements a un espai reduït, garantizant que cada component compleix una funció essencial pel correcte funcionament del sistema. Un cop implementat, el sistema recopila dades continues a travès del sistema de control. Aquestes dades son sotmeses a un anàlisis per avaluar la eficiència del sistema en termes de generació d'energia. Aquesta perspectiva analítica, no només permet verificar la funcionalitat del sistema, sinó que també proporciona informació per possibles milloras del projecte. En resum, aquest projecte no només cerca generar energia de manera sostenible, sinó que també garantitzar un control eficient i ajudar a la millora en l'implementació d'aquesta tecnología. This project aims to efficiently generate electrical current through an integrated system consisting of an electrolyzer and a fuel cell. The key to this process lies in the decomposition of water, where the electrolyzer separates it into oxygen and hydrogen, and the fuel cell utilizes these elements to undergo reduction and oxidation reactions, thereby generating electrical energy sustainably. The efficiency of the entire system is maximized through the implementation of a continuous monitoring system. This thorough control is carried out using a network of strategically placed sensors, actuators, and other crucial electronic components. The interconnection of these elements is achieved through a microcontroller and IoT technology, enabling precise and real-time control of each component of the system. The design of this project has been meticulous, covering everything from the selection and detailed study of sensors and actuators to a deep understanding of the properties of hydrogen and the intrinsic functioning of fuel cells and electrolyzers. Additionally, the design of a PCB electronic board has been executed, compacting all these elements into a confined space, ensuring that each component serves an essential function for the proper operation of the system. Once implemented, the system collects continuous data through the control system. These data are subjected to analysis to evaluate the efficiency of the system in terms of energy generation. This analytical approach not only verifies the functionality of the system but also provides insights for potential improvements to the project. In summary, this project not only aims to generate energy sustainably but also to ensure efficient control and contribute to the continuous improvement in the implementation of this technology.

    Authors: Casas Díez, Víctor;

    Authors: Romero Puerta, Oscar Daniel;

    ilustraciones, fotografías El mantenimiento de las condiciones de trabajo en la población laboral es un propósito de los gobiernos y organizaciones en busca del bienestar, de acuerdo con la Organización Internacional de Trabajo (OIT, 2016b) “Las condiciones de trabajo cubren una amplia gama de temas y cuestiones, desde las horas de trabajo (tiempo trabajado, periodos de descanso y horarios de trabajo) hasta la remuneración, como también las condiciones físicas y las demandas mentales que se imponen en el lugar de trabajo”. Según la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT-2019, s. f.) “A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados y de las mejoras logradas en los últimos decenios, los bosques son lugares de trabajo peligrosos. En el sector persisten déficits de trabajo decente, tales como condiciones de trabajo precarias e inseguras, obstáculos al derecho de libertad sindical y al reconocimiento efectivo del derecho de negociación colectiva, medidas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo inadecuadas, baja productividad, remuneración insuficiente, y falta de acceso a la protección social”. Como expresa Estudios de Economía Forestal (Merle & López, 2018) “Colombia es uno de los países más ricos del mundo en términos de biodiversidad, y está generosamente dotado de bosques, aguas y recursos minerales. Explotar su capital natural ha sido y sigue siendo una parte crucial del éxito del desarrollo del país”. No obstante; el banco mundial (Banco Mundial 2016, s. f.) “Destaca entre los principales retos, la capacidad de promover actividades no extractivas para reducir el peso de la actividad petrolera en la economía nacional, y la atención a temáticas ambientales y de resiliencia que condicionarán el desarrollo del país a futuro”. (Texto tomado de la fuente) Maintaining working conditions for the working population is a goal of governments and organizations seeking welfare, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO, 2016b). "Working conditions cover a wide range of issues, from working hours (time worked, rest periods, and work schedules) to compensation, as well as physical conditions and mental demands imposed in the workplace," says the ILO. Despite efforts and improvements made in recent decades, the forestry sector remains a hazardous workplace, with deficits in decent work such as precarious and unsafe working conditions, obstacles to the right to trade union freedom and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, inadequate occupational safety and health measures, low productivity, insufficient remuneration, and lack of access to social protection, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO-2019, n.d.). As expressed by Forest Economics Studies (Merle & López, 2018), "Colombia is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of biodiversity and is generously endowed with forests, waters, and mineral resources. Exploiting its natural capital has been and continues to be a crucial part of the country's development success." However, the World Bank (World Bank 2016, n.d.) highlights among the main challenges the ability to promote non-extractive activities to reduce the weight of the oil activity in the national economy and the attention to environmental and resilience issues that will condition the country's future development. Ninguna Maestría Magíster en Salud y Seguridad en El Trabajo El presente estudio de investigación está planteado desde un abordaje cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Por cuanto se realizó un análisis de las características sociodemográficas de la población laboralmente expuesta a los factores de riesgo en una empresa del sector forestal en la región de la Orinoquía, en los departamentos del Meta y Casanare y así mismo se realizó la identificación de las condiciones de trabajo, caracterizando los peligros y nivel de los riesgos asociados al proceso de reforestación protectora, destacando los factores derivados desde la perspectiva de género.
