This research presents a seasonal multi-temporal approach to the detection of palaeo-rivers over large areas based on long-term vegetation dynamics and spectral decomposition techniques. Twenty-eight years of Landsat 5 data, a total of 1711 multi-spectral images, have been bulk processed using Google Earth Engine© Code Editor and cloud computing infrastructure. The research presented has been carried out as part of the TwoRains projectt, which is a multi-disciplinary investigation of climate change and the Indus civilization in northwest India.

These folders store the results of the automated extraction of individual potsherd fragments in the soil surface provided by two different approaches. They both used the same orthophotomsaic. The original images were acquired by a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 flying at a height of around 3m above ground. These were acquired as part of the survey of the city of Abdera and its environments. These images correspond to plot 591. These are preliminary results of work in progress. Future research will provide more developed algorithms and processes. This is only intended to document the provisional results as they were in early summer 2020.

We evaluate the potential of LiDAR and RGB imagery obtained through unmanned aerial vehi-cles (UAVs) as high-throughput phenotyping tools for the characterization of tree growth and crown structure in two representative Mediterranean pine species (P. nigra and P. halepensis). Both UAV-based methods were then tested for their accuracy to detect genotypic differentiation among Pinus nigra and Pinus halepensis populations and their subspecies (black pine) or ecotypes (Aleppo pine). We investigated the possible relation between intraspecific variation of morphometric traits and life-history strategies of populations by correlating traits to climate factors at origin of pop-ulations. Finally, we investigated which traits distinguished better among black pine subspecies or Aleppo pine ecotypes. The data included raw values of morphometric traits derived from LiDAR and RGB-UAVs and measured in situ, populations means of statistically relevant morphometric traits and climate variables at site, and subspecies (P. nigra) and ecotypes (P. halepensis) means of statistically significant morphometric traits.

The PFuji-Size dataset [2] includes the 3D point clouds of 6 Fuji apple trees containing a total of 615 apples and an additional 25 apples scanned in laboratory conditions. Structure-from-motion and multi-view stereo techniques were used to generate the 3D point clouds of the captured scene. Apple locations and ground truth diameter annotations are provided for assessing fruit detection and size estimation algorithms.

JavaScript code to be implemented in Google Earth Engine(c) for large-scale, multi-temporal remote sensing of palaeo-river networks. This research presents a seasonal multi-temporal approach to the detection of palaeo-rivers over large areas based on long-term vegetation dynamics and spectral decomposition techniques. Twenty-eight years of Landsat 5 data, a total of 1711 multi-spectral images, have been bulk processed using Google Earth Engine© Code Editor and cloud computing infrastructure.

They both used the same orthophotomsaic. The original images were acquired by a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 flying at a height of around 3m above ground. These were acquired as part of the survey of the city of Abdera and its environments. These images correspond to plot 591. These are preliminary results of work in progress. Future research will provide more developed algorithms and processes. This is only intended to document the provisional results as they were in early summer 2020.

The PFuji-Size dataset [2] includes the 3D point clouds of 6 Fuji apple trees containing a total of 615 apples and an additional 25 apples scanned in laboratory conditions. Structure-from-motion and multi-view stereo techniques were used to generate the 3D point clouds of the captured scene. Apple locations and ground truth diameter annotations are provided for assessing fruit detection and size estimation algorithms.
