En 2021, l'équipe d'observation de la Terre de la Direction générale des sciences et de la technologie (DGST) d'Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada (AAC) a répété le processus visant à produire des cartes numériques de l'inventaire annuel des cultures à l'aide d'images satellitaires pour l'ensemble du Canada, afin de soutenir la réalisation d'un inventaire national des cultures. Une méthodologie par arbre de décision a été utilisée à l'aide d'images satellitaires optiques (Landsat-8, Sentinel-2) et radar (MCR) avec une résolution spatiale finale de 30 m. En même temps que les acquisitions par satellite, des données de réalité de terrain ont été fournies par des sociétés d'assurance-récolte provinciales (Saskatchewan, Manitoba et Québec); tandis que des observations ponctuelles provenaient du Ministère d'Environnement, Eau et Changement climatique de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard; Ministère de l'Agriculture, de l'Alimentation et des Affaires rurales de l'Ontario; Université de Guelph - campus de Ridgetown; Ministère de l'Agriculture de Colombie-Britannique; l'acquisition de données a aussi été supportée par les centres régionaux de recherches et développement d'AAC à Saint-Jean de Terre-Neuve, Charlottetown, Kentville, Fredericton, Guelph et Summerland. Compte tenu des restrictions de voyage liées à la pandémie et le feu de forêt, un échantillonnage complet n'a pu avoir lieu en C-B. La classe 'agriculture' (120) est donc présente dans la province aux endroits exempts de données terrain. In 2021, the Earth Observation Team of the Science and Technology Branch (STB) at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) repeated the process of generating annual crop inventory digital maps using satellite imagery to for all of Canada, in support of a national crop inventory. A Decision Tree (DT) based methodology was applied using optical (Landsat-8, Sentinel-2), and radar (RCM) based satellite images, and having a final spatial resolution of 30m. In conjunction with satellite acquisitions, ground-truth information was provided by: provincial crop insurance companies in Manitoba, & Quebec; point observations from the PEI Department of Environment, Water and Climate Change; Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; University of Guelph - Ridgetown campus; British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture; and data collection supported by our regional AAFC Research and Development Centres in St. John's, Charlottetown, Kentville, Fredericton, Guelph and Summerland. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions and forest fires, complete sampling coverages in BC was not possible, as a result the general agriculture class (120) is found in this province in areas where there was no ground data collected.

This dataset contains transcripted interviews conducted to investigate the students' experiences and reflections related to the learning strategy intervention that was implemented in the course and related to the digitalization of the course in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. The participants were 12 students in an introductory mechanics course with approx. 150 students enrolled. The semi-structured interviews were based on an interview guide, which is attached to the dataset, and were conducted by Stein Dankert Kolst��. The interviews were transcribed intelligent verbatim by a company delivering specialized transcription services, Totaltekst AS.

On March 24, 2020, a partial lockdown was decreed in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, as a measure to hinder the spread of COVID-19, which consisted in prohibiting crowding and advising people to stay home, except for urgent or extremely necessary matters. Based on studies performed in other countries, this study aims to assess the impacts of the lockdown on the air quality of five cities in the state of São Paulo. Our study was conducted by using particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide as air quality indicators, and by correlating the contaminants concentrations with weather data. The results showed an increase in these contaminants in all cities within the first weeks after the lockdown compared with the weeks before the decree and with the same period in previous years. This result is inconsistent with the literature. Therefore, a secondary goal was set to investigate the possible cause (or causes) of such deterioration in air quality, which led to the increased number of wildfires. The anomalous dry weather favored the burning of vegetation in agricultural rural areas and in small, vegetated areas near the municipalities, and limited pollution scavenging by rainfall, both of which contributed to higher pollution concentration. We hypothesize the possible effects of worse air quality on the aggravation of COVID-19, but further research is necessary to obtain a complete assessment.

This contribution was delivered on 5 May 2022 on the occasion of the hybrid 2022 edition of EUI State of the Union on ‘A Europe fit for the next generation?' EU Member States have adopted several initiatives to establish a legal and technical framework for digital identity. The European Commission has facilitated this development by offering guidance and promoting interoperable solutions through frameworks such as eIDAS and solutions developed within the European Interoperability Framework. At the same time, two years of COVID-19 pandemic have led at once to an acceleration of digital identity projects, and mounting concerns that widespread data collection and availability can lead to the risk of privacy violations, citizen profiling and mass surveillance. This session will explore the opportunities and challenges of emerging digital identity and digital payments, including the privacy, security concerns as well as the outstanding opportunities for inclusive growth, resilient and sustainable solutions for the society of the future. The discussion will also cover emerging attempts to develop joint European solutions for digital identity, including the recent joint declaration between the governments of Finland and Germany to support the progress of the proposed regulation on European digital identity, and to accelerate the development of joint European solutions based on digital identity.

Presentation materials from a LIASA (Library and Information Association of South Africa) - HELIG (Higher Education Libraries Interest Group) webinar on digital transformation in the academic library profession, Friday, 6 May, 13h00 - 14h00. The effect of technology on libraries has enabled them to transform and adapt to the e-space, thereby undergoing digital transformation. The Covid-19 pandemic expedited this and necessitated more library materials moving to electronic formats to remain accessible and (re-)usable. Digitisation improves access to information and availability in support of virtual offerings. It is indeed fundamental that digital library resources are appropriately preserved in times of risk, such as the recent fire at UCT and floods in KZN.

This paper presents the data set of an investigation on the factors affecting the digital transformation readiness of Vietnamese students in the context of the Covid-19. The data is built based on the TAM model and sociological investigation method to collect multi-dimensional information from many different perspectives of different individuals, through the direct and indirect investigation with a view to assessing the level of influence. The survey includes some main question groups corresponding to the independent variables in the model: self-study, students' attitudes, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and Covid-19. The authors distributed the questionnaire online and collected 913 valid answers. We believe that this data may be relevant to future studies of similar topics and can be used to make recommendations for the education sector.

This dataset was constructed by 294 Vietnamese teachers' perspectives on the teaching profession, as well as the support they received from different types of stakeholders during COVID-19. A questionnaire has been spread over 2,500 randomly selected teachers in two major teacher communities on Facebook: MIE Expert Vietnam (38,600 members), and Vietnam Innovative Education Forum (14,000 members). Landsat 8 OLI Satellite Images for Lake Hussain Sagar, India are provided in the folder 'Satellite Images- Clipped- Hussain Sagar Lake Hyderabad India'. Data contains band 1 (B1), band 2 (B2), band 3 (B3), band 4 (B4), and band 5 (B5) for March and April in 2015 - 2019, and January, March, April, and May in 2020. All cloud-free images are used. Surface Reflectance (SR) values extracted for the above-mentioned bands are available in the folder 'Extracted Surface Reflectance Values'.
