The increasing demand of water in agriculture, the capacity to maintain local food production, and the growing dependence on food imports are interconnected issues that must be addressed to ensure food security and nutrition in the Mediterranean region. Here, we present the conceptual framework and methodologies developed by the MEDINA-Study Group for rethinking food systems toward sustainable consumption and production modes. Based on its multidisciplinary expertise, the MEDINA-Study Group designed a "fork-to-farm" multi-scale approach, stemming from current dietary habits and examining how some options to nutritionally improve these habitsmight affect the food systems. This approach was developed for research activities in the South of France and Tunisia, two areas with very different diet-agriculture-environment nexus. The conceptual framework is based on the analysis of elements of the food systems (from consumption to production) at different levels (individual, household, regional and national levels). The methods include: (i) modeling options of dietary changes at different scales, in order to nutritionally optimize food consumption-production without increasing the environmental impact, (ii) translating the best-choice changes into possible policy actions, (iii) testing the acceptability and feasibility of these actions with several stakeholders, and (iv) producing guidelines for sustainable food choices and production. The MEDINA-Study Group identified additional issues that could be included in a future framework to help designing ambitious agricultural, food and health policies in the Mediterranean region.

The CRANE robot, a robotic needle positioning system for CT guided procedures, is one such system that has demonstrated a low-profile, high dexterity, and a large number of degrees of freedom. In this thesis, we present an end-to-end automated control scheme for the CRANE robotic platform that optimizes a robotic configuration over several defined metrics relevant to the successful completion of a transthoracic needle biopsy procedure. For a given needle tip target pose, multiple viable arm configurations are generated and ranked based several metric criteria. Once a configuration is chosen, a planner is run to find a collision-free path from the robot’s initial position outside of the CT-bore to this final configuration within the bore.

(Bayu); In a classroom, ideally there are facilities such as chairs, desks, blackboards, and electronic devices used such as air conditioners (AC), lamps and projectors. However, in its use, there are actions that are not responsible for maintaining the facility so that it causes losses. An internet of things-based classroom monitoring system is needed to solve existing problems. This system has the ability to remotely operate electronic facilities in classrooms such as air conditioning, electricity and lights, monitor access to classrooms, process data, print activity monitoring reports, to monitor the current conditions of a room. This system consists of three parts, namely the database part, the microcontroller section and the software section. The database section contains data on access cards or fingerprints, room usage schedules, room temperature and humidity. The methodology for designing and building a classroom monitoring system uses the waterfall methodology. In this methodology, several steps are taken to build a system, namely: system requirements analysis, hardware design and software engineering, system design, system implementation, system testing, and system maintenance. Based on the test results, this system can record input data on the microcontroller section and display it in the software section for real-time monitoring and controlling of classrooms and minimizing damage to existing facilities in the classroom. Monitoring of classroom use that is not according to the schedule of use can be carried out and controlled remotely in real-time.

Indicators were selected. The data was analyzed by calculating the main statistical characteristics. A correlation matrix was calculated. It was determined the map of clusters of countries. The main components were selected. The number of the most optimal clusters was determined on the basis of the Elbow Method. In the last step, forecast models were built that demonstrate the impact of digitalization on the most correlated factors that characterize economic development.

(Heri); Jarastino, B. T. (Bayu);Riyanto, J. (Joko); Nurlaila, F. (Farida); Haerudin, H. (Heri); Jarastino, B. T.
