    Le changement climatique augmente l’incertitude liée aux activités agricoles car il constitue un aléa qui vient s’ajouter aux nombreux facteurs de l’environnement dont dépend l’agriculture. C’est particulièrement vrai en zone méditerranéenne. Une démarche de prospective participative a été engagée dans le Roussillon. Différents acteurs du monde agricole du Roussillon ont débattu impact du changement climatique et adaptation à ce changement au cours d’ateliers de prospective participative réalisés en petits groupes homogènes (jeunes, agriculture biologique, représentants des agriculteurs) pratiquant les principales cultures de la région (arboriculture fruitière, vigne, maraîchage). Le contexte de l’agriculture de la région et la démarche adoptée sont présentés. Il s’est avéré que les indicateurs généraux du changement climatique fournis par les scientifiques (températures et précipitations mensuelles moyennes, etc.) ne sont pas celles qui intéresseraient les agriculteurs pour adapter leurs pratiques (vitesse du vent, risque du gel, amplitude journalière et seuils de température, etc.). Mais ces modifications du climat n’effraient pas le monde agricole, confiant dans l’adaptation du matériel végétal, des calendriers et méthodes culturales. Les agriculteurs craignent beaucoup plus, à court et moyen terme, une forte régression de l’agriculture en Roussillon par l’exacerbation des concurrences internationales et par l’effacement progressif des enjeux agricoles dans les politiques environnementales et d’aménagement du territoire. Climate change increases the uncertainty associated with agricultural activities as hazard in addition to many factors of the environment affecting agricultural activities. This is particularly true in the Mediterranean area. A participatory foresight process was initiated in Roussillon (South of France). Various agricultural stakeholders from Roussillon discussed the impact of climate change and adaptation to this change in participatory foresight workshops conducted in small and homogeneousgroups (youth, organic farming, farmers representatives) practicing the main crops of the region (fruits, vine, vegetables). The context of agriculture in the region and the approach are presented before the main results of the workshops and lessons that can be learnt for the future of agriculture in this region. General indicators of climate change provided by scientists (average monthly temperatures and precipitation, etc.) are not those that would interest farmers to adapt their practices (wind speed, risk of frost and daily range temperature thresholds, etc.). But these changes do not scare the agricultural world, confident in the adaptation of plant material, calendars and farming methods. Farmers fear much in the short and medium term, a sharp decline of agriculture in Roussillon by the exacerbation of international competition and the phasing-out of agricultural issues in environmental policies and land use.
