Health of the rural area population depends on many environment conditions. Researches on health allows us to determine differences between population health and its needs and to identify potential risks of rural area. There are many factors affecting both individual and commune health of the living area. Therefore, the subject of this article are the factors affecting rural population health and they will be defined. These factors consider income, social relations, access and usage of fundamental communal services, such as water pipeline, sewage system, the quality of available health services, personal responsibility and environment.

The modern way of life has affected the extremely high level of environmental degradation. Modern technologies, on the one hand, degrade our environment, but on the other they can also be used to preserve and improve its quality. An efficient monitoring system is able to monitor the status and changes in the vegetation cover of a particular area. In this paper will be shown the determination of the vegetation inventory of the settlement Vrčin through the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and comparison of the data thus obtained with the various available classifications of satellite images, in order to determine the best monitoring system in the environment through remote detection.

On the territory of Vojvodina in the period from 1969 to 2010 78 boreholes were drilled for the purpose of finding thermal mineral water. Serbian part of Banat in Vojvodina has 18 boreholes, most of which in the municipality of Kikinda (six). All boreholes reach first hydro geological system. The geothermal gradient in the municipality of Kikinda is in the range of 0.052 to 0,057ºCm-1, and the density of terrestrial heat flow is of 94 mWm-2 to 105 mWm-2, which is significantly more than in the area of the continental part of Europe. Thermal mineral waters in the wells in the municipality of Kikinda are hypothermal, with favorable mineralization, pH and salinity, which enable various possibilities of use. The waters have been used for heating needs of business premises and pig farm. However, in addition, water can be used in balneological purposes, for sports and recreation, agriculture, industry. Thermal mineral water found in the municipality of Kikinda can have a huge part in regional development, but also attract investors from our country and abroad. However, financial and administrative problems are just some of the restrictions when creating or implementing studies for the use of thermal mineral water in the municipality of Kikinda.

Touristically speaking, the rural areas of Serbia are not fully researched, hence there exist viewpoints that say that by the development of manifestational tourism the touristic potential of such areas can be raised to the higher level and be better presented to the foreign touristic market. The result of the previously stated would be the increase of the touristic demand-scale, and an effect on the decrease of negative demographic processes and preventing migration of young people from rural to urban areas, as well. Touristic Manifestation 'Guča Trumpet Festival' with over 55 years of tradition presents one of the most prominent domestic brands recognizable in the world touristic market. Methodological contribution of the paper consists of displaying the terrain-research results carried out in 2015 and an overview of the interdependence of the main motives that attract foreign visitors to this manifestation and the local-people's demographic characteristics, with an intention of pointing out the suggestion for improving the rural area developmental conditions. Data analysis was carried out in the package program for statistical analysis and the data processing (SPSS 20.00) and was based on the population registry, granted from National Statistical Service of Republic of Serbia. The gathered data have shown that the studied manifestation can play a role in the revitalization of the Dragačevo area, primarily because it is interesting to foreign visitors and generally foreign visitors are interested in longer stays if the more significant touristic offer is rendered, including the touristic values in the vicinal regions.

The study of the rural areas of Serbia is in the narrowest sphere of interest of the economic policy makers, with the aim of creating more balanced regional development. The economic underdevelopment of rural areas is a burden on the state as a whole, and one of the most important development issue. Based on the results of the 2002 and 2011 census, it can be concluded that the number of inhabitants in Serbia is reduced by 30,000 annually. Particularly worrying is the fact that the balance between rural and urban areas has been disturbed, at the expense of rural areas. The data show that out of 4,709 villages in Serbia, 700 of them have no demographic future. Abandoned houses, collapsed cooperative homes, shops, empty schools, closed ambulances - all of these are indicators of the seriousness of the problems that the mountain villages of Serbia, and therefore Rogozne, are facing. The situation in rural areas in Serbia may be best illustrated by the following: 1,200 villages are in a phase of disappearance, 50,000 houses are empty, and in another 150,000 no one currently lives, more than 1000 villages have fewer than 100 inhabitants. However, the most important problem is the average age of people living in the villages of Serbia - 43.6 years, while the average age of citizens in cities is 41.3 years. The residents of rural areas on Rogozna mountain consider that, should the economic situation improve, it should encourage positive demographic changes in these villages. This is only possible through ensuring a secure existence and sustainable agricultaral production (secure placement of agricultural products).

The municipality of Crna Trava is characterized by the most prominent demographic problems in the Republic of Serbia. The problem of depopulation and demographic aging of the population is one of the most important that Serbia faces and it represents one of the causes of regional inequalities. After the Second World War, the territory of the municipality of Crna Trava was affected by the great demogeographic changes that affected the transformation of this region. Demogeographic changes are clearly visible and are characterized by a decrease in the total population, population density and natural growth. As a consequence, there have been negative changes in the structural characteristics of the population. Depopulation is the dominant process, and the socio-economic situation in this municipality and the entire region does not provide opportunities for demographic and economic revitalization.

According to David Grigg (1986), total agricultural production is not only the sum of the production value, but sum of mutual relations, phenomena and processes. That is why agricultural production can be understood as a complex or system of continuous processes. In this study of typology of agriculture, beside total production which is presented on the basis of 32 basic indicators reduced to the reference value, are analyzed the structure and productivity of production, agricultural potential and market orientation. This paper presents an attempt of exact overview of the impact of transitional crisis on the agriculture of the Belgrade region in the period from 1991 to 2002. Po shvatanju Dejvida Griga (1986) ukupna poljoprivredna proizvodnja nije samo suma vrednosti proizvodnje, već skup međusobnih veza, fenomena i procesa. Zbog toga se poljoprivredna proizvodnja može shvatiti i kao kompleks ili sistem kontinuiranih procesa. U ovoj studiji tipologije poljoprivrede, osim ukupne proizvodnje predstavljene na osnovu 32 bazna indikatora svedena na referentne vrednosti, analizirani su još: struktura i produktivnost proizvodnje, agrarni potencijal i tržišna orijentisanost. Ovaj rad predstavlja pokušaj egzaktnog sagledavanja uticaja tranzicione krize na poljoprivredu Regiona Beograda u periodu od 1991 do 2002. godine.
