    [Abstract]: The primary sector (and the natural resources that it uses) have always been such important and interesting for the economic study and for the development of the Galician economy too. On the other hand, Castelao is one of the most outstanding personalities in Galicia’s history and his book, Sempre en Galiza is one of the most recognized essays written in Galician. In this essay, Castelao studies the situation of the use of Galicia’s natural resourses and the need to make changes to improve their use. However, the present work is not restricted to Castelao's thought; rather starting from his economic thought and supported by contributions from previous and contemporary economists to Castelao, it is sought to develop an analysis of Galician thought of the 20th century on the use of Galicia’s natural resourses. From Castelao to Beiras. From Paz Andrade to Touriño, Leiceaga and González Laxe. Livestock, agriculture and fishing. Land and sea.     [ES] Hoy en día, gran parte de nuestra dieta está compuesta por alimentos que provienen de los árboles. Las raíces son las encargadas de absorber, almacenar y transportar los recursos que obtienen del agua, y en este proyecto nos centraremos en conocer las características que las rodean a varios niveles de profundidad para así saber cómo se está gestionando el agua en el suelo y planificar de una manera más acertada la cantidad de agua necesaria para evitar el estrés hídrico y el riego excesivo. Para llevarlo a cabo, utilizaremos sensores de humedad del suelo controlados por una placa con el procesador ESP32 que programaremos para que lea correctamente estos datos, los interprete, y muestre de la forma más clara posible la información de los distintos niveles mencionados. Otro de los fines de este proyecto es que sea accesible para todos, para lo cual es imprescindible que sea económico y que se ha conseguido gracias a que sus componentes tienen un bajo coste. Además, se ha diseñado un sistema de carga solar para que el dispositivo funcione de manera limpia y también así alargar la duración de la batería. La placa incorpora conectividad inalámbrica Wifi que enviará los datos a ThingSpeak. [EN] Today, much of our diet consists of food that comes from trees. The roots are responsible for absorbing, storing and transporting resources obtained from water, and in this project we have focused on knowing the characteristics of moisture that surround them at various levels of depth to know how water in the soil is being managed, and be able to plan more accurately the amount of water needed to avoid stress and excessive watering. To carry it out, we will use soil moisture sensors controlled by an ESP32 board, which we will have programmed to read this data correctly, and interpret and display it as clearly as possible on a screen so that any user can check the information of the different levels mentioned. Another aim of this project is that it should be accessible to all, for which it is essential that it is economical and that it has been achieved thanks to the low cost of its components. In addition, a solar charging system for the device has been designed to work cleanly and to extend the battery life. The used ESP32 board incorporates Wi-Fi that will send the data to ThingSpeak.

    En aquesta memòria es presenta el treball de disseny i implementació d’una interfície lúdica musical que s’ha desenvolupat per al robot CASPER (Cognitive Assistive Social PEt Robot), un autòmat d’assistència cognitiva creat per facilitar l’aprenentatge i millorar la capacitat de socialització de nens amb Desordre de l’Espectre Autista. Es mostra tant la part hardware com software que compon el robot, que ha estat desenvolupat en llenguatge Arduino, molt similar al C++. S’han programat dos diferents modalitats de joc: un amb l’objectiu de guiar el nen per reproduir una melodia predeterminada i l’altre que li permetrà d’una manera lliure crear-ne una de pròpia. Aquests han estat desenvolupats amb l’objectiu de treure el màxim profit del hardware amb el qual ja comptava CASPER: s’ha fet ús de quatre servomotors Dynamixel i de dos microcontroladors Arduino (un màster i un esclau, comunicats entre ells mitjançant protocol I2C). A més, s’han implementat al robot sensors tàctils, leds i un altaveu, que aporten al projecte un aspecte més lúdic. La música servirà d’intermediari entre el robot i el nen, i alhora podria suposar un punt de contacte inicial entre el terapeuta i el pacient, el qual generalment sol ignorar o fins i tot rebutjar la comunicació humana.

    [ES] Agropop se define, en líneas generales, como una plataforma web de compra, venta, trueque, reparto o cualquier otro tipo de transacción entre individuos o colectivos, de productos agrícolas. La plataforma se construye sobre una serie de tecnologías de cierta fama, destacando: Django como framework para desarrollar un servidor web en el lenguaje Python y Svelte como framework para desarrollar el cliente web en el lenguaje Typescript. Este proyecto pretende documentar el proceso para conseguir lo anteriormente mencionado hasta el punto de tener un producto mínimo para mostrar a cierta cantidad de usuarios. Para ello, se utilizan una serie de metodologías y estrategias de trabajo, destacando la metodología ágil Scrum, Kanban, Test-driven development, Trunk Based Development y otras. También quedan documentados ciertos análisis técnicos del problema, tanto previos, como pueden ser diferentes esquematizaciones abstractas del problema: casos de uso, diagramas de clase, diagramas de componentes, como posteriores: análisis de la seguridad y rendimiento de los componentes más importantes. [CA] Agropop es definex, en general, com una plataforma web de compra, venda, bescanvi, repartiment o qualsevol altre tipus de transacció entre individus o colectius, de productes agrícoles. La plataforma es construeix sobre una sèrie de tecnologies de certa fama, destacant: Django com a framework per a desenvolupar un servidor web en el llenguatge Python y Svelte com a framwork pera desenvolupar un client web en el llenguatge Typescript. Aquest projecte pretén documentar el procés utilitzat per aconsguir el esmentat anteriorment fins a tindre un producte mínim per a mostrar a certa cantitat d’usuaris. Per això, s’utilitzen una serie de metodologies i estrategies de treball, destacant la metodologia àgil Scrum, Kanban, Test-driven development, Trunk Based Development y altres. També son documentats certs anàlisis tècnics del problema, tant previs, com diferents esquematitzacions abstractes del problema: casos d’ús, diagrames de clase i componentes, com posteriors: anàlisis de securitat i rendiment dels components més importants. [EN] Agropop is defined, in general terms, as a web platform which provides its users with the ability to sell, buy, barter, distribute or any other type of transaction between invidivuduals of produce-based products. The platform is built upon a series of famous technologies, highlighting: Django as a framework to develop the web server using the Python language, and Svelte as a framework to develop the web client using the Typescript language users. To do so, a series of metodologies and work strategies are being used, highlighting the agile methodology Scrum, Kanban, Test-driven Development, Trunk Based Development and others. Other technical analysis will also be provided. These will be either previous to the development process, like building different abstract schemas and diagrams to predefine behaviour, like use case, class and componentes diagrams, or posterior: security and performance analyses of the most important componentes.

    Com podem aconseguir una caracterització densa d'un objecte altament deformable per a la manipulació robòtica utilitzant la percepció visual? L'espai d'estats de dimensió infinita que defineixen els objectes deformables fa que aquesta tasca sigui extremadament difícil. A més, a causa de la naturalesa d'aquests objectes, tractar amb auto-ocultacions es converteix en un important segon desafiament. La freqüència i complexitat d'aquestes augmenten amb el grau de deformabilitat de l'objecte. Per tant, és crucial tractar-les adequadament. Aquesta tesi proposa un mètode que, mitjançant l'ús de la percepció visual (imatges RGB), (1) proporciona una representació densa agnòstica a tasques d'una classe d'objecte, (2) permet generalitzar aquesta representació a través de diferents instàncies de la mateixa categoria d'objecte i (3) proporciona una mesura de confiança en l'assignació de correspondències entre diferents imatges. En aquest cas particular, l'enfocament està en la manipulació de roba, més específicament en la manipulació de diferents instàncies de samarretes. Per això, aquest treball també proporciona una metodologia per a la generació aleatòria de diferents tipus de samarretes. No obstant, tot el marc definit es podria generalitzar a qualsevol altre tipus d'objecte deformable. ¿Cómo podemos lograr una caracterización densa de un objeto altamente deformable para la manipulación robótica utilizando la percepción visual? El espacio de estados de dimensión infinita que definen a los objetos deformables hace que esta tarea sea extremadamente difícil. Además, debido a la naturaleza de estos objetos, tratar con autoocultaciones se convierte en un importante segundo desafío. Su frecuencia y complejidad aumentan con el grado de deformabilidad del objeto. Por lo tanto, es crucial tratarlas adecuadamente. Esta tesis propone un método que, mediante el uso de la percepción visual (imágenes RGB), (1) proporciona una representación densa agnóstica a tareas de una clase de objeto, (2) permite generalizar dicha representación a través de diferentes instancias de la misma categoría de objeto, y (3) proporciona una medida de confianza en la assignación de correspondencias entre distintas imágenes. En este caso en particular, el enfoque está en la manipulación de ropa, más específicamente en la manipulación de diferentes instancias de camisetas. Es por ello que este trabajo también proporciona una metodología para randomizar la generación de distintos tipos de ellas. Sin embargo, todo el marco definido se podría generalizar a cualquier otro tipo de objeto deformable. How can we achieve a dense characterization of a highly deformable object for robotic manipulation using visual perception? The infinite dimensional state space of deformable objects makes this task extremely difficult. Moreover, due to the nature of these objects, dealing with self-occlusions becomes a second major challenge. Their frequency and complexity increase with the degree of deformability of the object. Thus, it is crucial to properly deal with them. This thesis proposes a method that, by using visual perception (RGB images), (1) provides a task-agnostic dense representation of an object class, (2) enables to generalize such a representation across different instances of the same object category, and (3) provides a measure of confidence on pixelwise correspondence matching. In this particular case, the focus is on cloth manipulation, more specifically on instances of upper-body clothes. As a result, this work also provides a pipeline to generate a simulated dataset of randomized instances within this object category. Aquest documenta l'anàlisi de l'estat de l’art i l’estudi de les diferents solucions existents al mercat, seguit de l'enginyeria de concepte realitzada per definir i justificar la solució adoptada i, finalment, l'enginyeria de desenvolupament que exposa el disseny final i la problemàtica sorgida. El contingut de cadascuna d'aquestes parts es divideix en tres blocs principals: mecànica, hardward i software del robot. Per completar la seva documentació, també s'aporten tots els càlculs, plànols, esquemes, codi font de programació, fitxes tècniques dels components, manual d'ús i anàlisi de costos.

    La manifestación de carencia de relevo generacional, que afecta tanto al sector agrario como al cooperativo, ha generado la necesidad de realizar un estudio que nos permita anticiparnos a sus consecuencias. Mediante la elaboración de encuestas a los socios hortofrutícolas de Grupo AN y a través de análisis estadísticos, se ha buscado responder a la hipótesis que justifica la falta de sucesión mencionada anteriormente, la cual se apoya en subhipótesis que explican las causas de dicho fenómeno. Como resultado de este análisis hemos obtenido seis perfiles de socios que se agrupan en torno a tres comportamientos en relación al relevo generacional: socios sin relevo generacional, socios con relevo generacional y socios con potencial relevo generacional. The manifestation of the lack of generational renewal, affecting both the agricultural and cooperative sectors, has generated the need to carry out a study that allows us to anticipate to its consequences. Through the devising of surveys to Grupo AN fruit and vegetable cooperative owners and through statistical analyses, we have tried to answer the hypothesis that justifies the aforementioned lack of succession, which is based on sub-hypotheses that explain the causes of this phenomenon. As a result of this analysis we have obtained six owner profiles that are grouped around three behaviors in relation to the generational relay: owners without generational relay, owners with generational relay and owners with potential generational relay.     Este proyecto de fin de carrera tiene como objetivo la creación de una infraestructura tanto física como de software que facilite y economice la investigación robótica sobre el aprendizaje cognitivo. Además, del desarrollo de herramientas de software que simplifiquen el uso de sonido en investigación robótica. Para ello, se ha diseñado y construido un robot. La estructura del mismo ha sido elaborada usando software de diseños 3D para poder ser generada a través de impresoras 3D. El fin de esta decisión recae en poder facilitar su reproducción por todos aquellos que así lo deseen. Por otro lado, el hardware usado es el más económico posible a excepción de aquellos componentes que tienen un especial interés para su investigación como posible hardware dentro del mundo de la robótica. El diseño en general está inspirado en las teorías de robótica social y cognitiva, siguiendo a su vez el principio de economía en el diseño. A nivel de software, se ha desarrollado una serie de herramientas que permiten simular entornos virtuales sonoros y procesar los sonidos generados internamente por una computadora. Además, se ha creado un software para el aprendizaje robótico no supervisado, basándose en modelos matemáticos que se aproximan al funcionamiento cerebral del ser humano. Por último, se ha realizado un experimento a modo de entrenamiento de la estructura de aprendizaje para evaluar si era posible con la infraestructura software creada, y como sistema de evaluación el de la efectividad de las teorías aplicadas, poder reconocer el tono emocional en el que alguien está hablando independientemente del idioma usado. Como resultado, se ha obtenido un robot completo con los elementos esenciales que permiten la investigación en aprendizaje robótico en robots físicos. Siendo además este robot de un precio de fabricación bajo y modular. Asimismo, en la parte de software se han extraído un conjunto de gráficas que muestran el rendimiento y la eficiencia de los modelos y software creados. Como conclusión, se puede subrayar que se ha conseguido un sistema con el potencial de detectar los tonos emocionales de los hablantes con una exactitud notable aunque sería necesario un mayor desarrollo y optimización para una mejor precisión.     Internet de las Cosas es un tema de actualidad en el mundo de la tecnolog a. Poco a poco, el IoT se va convirtiendo en una necesidad para la poblaci on, y en una mina de oro para inversores y empresas. Por ello, ofrecer ofrecer una aplicaci on exitosa es el objetivo de muchas empresas, que quieren despuntar en campos como la telemedicina, la dom otica, el Internet de las Cosas industrial, o las Smart Cities. Dentro de este marco, pueden encontrarse colaboraciones entre empresas de la talla de Telefonica I+D, Orange, Thales, Siemens, o IBM, que han contribuido junto con la Uni on Europea en el desarrollo de una plataforma de IoT que busca integrar un entorno plani cado y com un para todos los componentes y clientes de la misma. Por la versatilidad y adaptabilidad de la plataforma, es altamente indicada para proyectos a gran escala, como el dise~no de Smart Cities. El proyecto que aqu se detalla tiene como objetivo demostrar las capacidades que caracterizan a la plataforma, utilizando el area de aplicaci on que mejor pueden exponerlas: el terreno de las Smart Cities. En primer lugar, se analizar an otras plataformas ya comercializadas de Internet de las Cosas. En segundo lugar, se investigar an otros modelos punteros de Smart City ya existentes. Finalmente, un modelo simulado de Smart City que satisfaga servicios haciendo uso de la plataforma ser a llevado a cabo. Utilizando datos reales de la ciudad de San Francisco, se ha modelado un sistema inteligente para satisfacer algunas de las necesidades de sus ciudadanos, de forma simulada. Con la nalidad de probar la versatilidad de la plataforma, se llevar an los datos publicados en ella a una herramienta online de visualizaci on ajena a la misma. Por otro lado, para probar la abilidad de la plataforma, esta ha sido sometida a tests de integraci on sobre los componentes, asegurando que estos pueden comunicarse e interactuar. El resultado de ambos ejercicios se encuentra documentado tambi en en este proyecto, que concluye con una revisi on positiva de la plataforma. Internet of Things is a cutting edge topic in technology nowadays. Little by little, IoT is becoming a need for people and a goldmine for research companies and investors, who aspire to provide a successful application in elds as eHealth, home automation, industrial IoT or Smart Cities. Inside this framework, companies as big as Telefonica I+D, Orange, Thales, Siemens and IBM, among others, have developed an IoT platform in cooperation with the European Union that looks for a solution to o er an common and organized environment for all the constituents of the platform, and all its clients. Due to the scalability and adaptability of the platform, it is particularly suitable for large-scale projects, such as the design and implementation of Smart Cities. This project attempts to be a demo capable of presenting the platform features, using the area of application that better exposes all its capabilities: a Smart City solution. Firstly, analysing other commercialised IoT platforms, more oriented to o er home automation solutions. Secondly, researching Smart City models already settled worldwide. Finally, a simulated Smart City was developed for this project. Using real data from the city of San Francisco, California, a simulated model of a smart system that satis es some services based in IoT solutions has been implemented. In order to test the adaptability of the platform, data can be visualized inside a graphical online tool. For testing the reliability of the platform, it was submitted to several integration tests among the components to make sure that they fully can communicate and interact.     [Abstract]: The primary sector (and the natural resources that it uses) have always been such important and interesting for the economic study and for the development of the Galician economy too. On the other hand, Castelao is one of the most outstanding personalities in Galicia’s history and his book, Sempre en Galiza is one of the most recognized essays written in Galician. In this essay, Castelao studies the situation of the use of Galicia’s natural resourses and the need to make changes to improve their use. However, the present work is not restricted to Castelao's thought; rather starting from his economic thought and supported by contributions from previous and contemporary economists to Castelao, it is sought to develop an analysis of Galician thought of the 20th century on the use of Galicia’s natural resourses.     [ES] Hoy en día, gran parte de nuestra dieta está compuesta por alimentos que provienen de los árboles. Las raíces son las encargadas de absorber, almacenar y transportar los recursos que obtienen del agua, y en este proyecto nos centraremos en conocer las características que las rodean a varios niveles de profundidad para así saber cómo se está gestionando el agua en el suelo y planificar de una manera más acertada la cantidad de agua necesaria para evitar el estrés hídrico y el riego excesivo. Para llevarlo a cabo, utilizaremos sensores de humedad del suelo controlados por una placa con el procesador ESP32 que programaremos para que lea correctamente estos datos, los interprete, y muestre de la forma más clara posible la información de los distintos niveles mencionados. Otro de los fines de este proyecto es que sea accesible para todos, para lo cual es imprescindible que sea económico y que se ha conseguido gracias a que sus componentes tienen un bajo coste. Además, se ha diseñado un sistema de carga solar para que el dispositivo funcione de manera limpia y también así alargar la duración de la batería. La placa incorpora conectividad inalámbrica Wifi que enviará los datos a ThingSpeak. [EN] Today, much of our diet consists of food that comes from trees. The roots are responsible for absorbing, storing and transporting resources obtained from water, and in this project we have focused on knowing the characteristics of moisture that surround them at various levels of depth to know how water in the soil is being managed, and be able to plan more accurately the amount of water needed to avoid stress and excessive watering. To carry it out, we will use soil moisture sensors controlled by an ESP32 board, which we will have programmed to read this data correctly, and interpret and display it as clearly as possible on a screen so that any user can check the information of the different levels mentioned. Another aim of this project is that it should be accessible to all, for which it is essential that it is economical and that it has been achieved thanks to the low cost of its components. In addition, a solar charging system for the device has been designed to work cleanly and to extend the battery life. The used ESP32 board incorporates Wi-Fi that will send the data to ThingSpeak.

    En aquesta memòria es presenta el treball de disseny i implementació d’una interfície lúdica musical que s’ha desenvolupat per al robot CASPER (Cognitive Assistive Social PEt Robot), un autòmat d’assistència cognitiva creat per facilitar l’aprenentatge i millorar la capacitat de socialització de nens amb Desordre de l’Espectre Autista. Es mostra tant la part hardware com software que compon el robot, que ha estat desenvolupat en llenguatge Arduino, molt similar al C++. S’han programat dos diferents modalitats de joc: un amb l’objectiu de guiar el nen per reproduir una melodia predeterminada i l’altre que li permetrà d’una manera lliure crear-ne una de pròpia. Aquests han estat desenvolupats amb l’objectiu de treure el màxim profit del hardware amb el qual ja comptava CASPER: s’ha fet ús de quatre servomotors Dynamixel i de dos microcontroladors Arduino (un màster i un esclau, comunicats entre ells mitjançant protocol I2C). A més, s’han implementat al robot sensors tàctils, leds i un altaveu, que aporten al projecte un aspecte més lúdic. La música servirà d’intermediari entre el robot i el nen, i alhora podria suposar un punt de contacte inicial entre el terapeuta i el pacient, el qual generalment sol ignorar o fins i tot rebutjar la comunicació humana.

La plataforma se construye sobre una serie de tecnologías de cierta fama, destacando: Django como framework para desarrollar un servidor web en el lenguaje Python y Svelte como framework para desarrollar el cliente web en el lenguaje Typescript. Este proyecto pretende documentar el proceso para conseguir lo anteriormente mencionado hasta el punto de tener un producto mínimo para mostrar a cierta cantidad de usuarios. Para ello, se utilizan una serie de metodologías y estrategias de trabajo, destacando la metodología ágil Scrum, Kanban, Test-driven development, Trunk Based Development y otras. También quedan documentados ciertos análisis técnicos del problema, tanto previos, como pueden ser diferentes esquematizaciones abstractas del problema: casos de uso, diagramas de clase, diagramas de componentes, como posteriores: análisis de la seguridad y rendimiento de los componentes más importantes.
