    The present bibliographic review allowed to analyze the challenges that companies have in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, through which it was possible to inquire about the economic, social and political context that this new technological era entails and how traditional companies can enter in this new digital context. For this, an exhaustive search of recent research related to the subject is made, in order to theoretically validate the aspects dealt with in the monograph, emphasizing the importance of new technologies and the optimization in production that it means for companies. the Revolution 4.0. Bibliografía ..................................................................................................... 33 La presente revisión bibliográfica permitió analizar los retos y desafíos que tienen las empresas en la cuarta revolución industrial, por medio de la cual fue posible indagar sobre el contexto económico, social y político que acarrea esta nueva era tecnológica y cómo pueden las empresas tradicionales ir incursionando en este nuevo contexto digital. Para esto, se hace una búsqueda exhaustiva de investigaciones recientes relacionadas con la temática, con el fin de validar teóricamente los aspectos tratados dentro de la monografía, haciendo énfasis en la importancia de las nuevas tecnologías y de la optimización en producción que significa para las empresas la Revolución 4.0. Se analizan aspectos fundamentales de las grandes empresas que han tenido éxito en este nuevo contexto de digitalización y los aspectos que deben seguir las empresas que quieran solventar los retos y desafíos que se les presenten.     El presente proyecto se realiza como Trabajo de final de Grado de la titulación de Marketing e Investigación de Marketing para la Universidad Oberta de Cataluña, en él se presenta un Plan de Marketing sobre la línea Barbie Fashionista. La línea Barbie Fashionista es la respuesta a la evolución necesaria de la marca mundialmente conocida Barbie, logrando adaptarse a las tendencias actuales, convirtiéndose en una muñeca emblemática y una herramienta educativa y lúdica en la infancia, ayudando a desarrollar el pensamiento crítico y las habilidades de diseño. Se trata de la muñeca más inclusiva y diversa del mercado, dado que cuenta con muñecas con múltiples enfermedades, cuerpos de piel y tonos faciales, promoviendo la aceptación mientras ayuda desde la infancia a desarrollar una mayor conciencia de la diversidad humana y la importancia de la inclusión en la sociedad, con apenas competencia en el mercado. Este Plan de Marketing tiene como objetivo principal convertir la línea Fashionista de la marca Barbie en un referente en todas las jugueterías del país, sumado a los objetivos específicos, los cuales tienen como finalidad la promoción de su venta en centros educativos y sanitarios, para poder utilizar las muñecas como instrumento lúdico y educativo en la infancia. Para lograr ambos objetivos propuestos, tras realizar un análisis DAFO permitiendo conocer la situación de la línea y CAME para conocer las acciones que se deben corregir y afrontar principalmente, se plantea fomentar su comunicación a través de medios digitales, aumento de presencia en eventos educativos y congresos médicos, logrando por tanto consolidar su imagen de marca. Para ello, a través de diferentes acciones, se debe tener en cuenta las diferentes actividades a desplegar, los departamentos implicados, sumado al coste de cada acción propuesta con un eje temporal de tres años, comenzando en julio del 2023 al terminar la presentación del mismo hasta finalizar el año 2025, con posibilidad de renovación. A su vez, queda reflejado un plan económico financiero, donde se pueden observar los beneficios y las perdidas esperadas en su consecución con la cuenta de resultados, y un cuadro de prioridades. Por último, se expone un plan de contingencia en el caso de ser preciso, tras un periodo de 3 a 4 meses consecutivos donde las acciones propuestas no den sus frutos, por lo que cada departamento responsable tras el análisis pertinente debe focalizar las causas, para poder utilizar las diversas medidas correctoras propuestas. This project is carried out as a Final Degree Project for the Marketing and Marketing Research degree for the Open University of Catalonia, for which a Marketing Plan for the Barbie Fashionista line is presented. The Barbie Fashionista line is the response to the necessary evolution of the world-renowned Barbie brand, managing to adapt to current trends, becoming an emblematic doll and an educational and playful tool in childhood, helping to develop critical thinking and communication skills. design. It is the most inclusive and diverse doll on the market, since it has dolls with multiple diseases, skin bodies and facial tones, promoting acceptance by helping from childhood to develop a greater awareness of human diversity and the importance of inclusion. in society, with hardly any competition in the market. The main goal of this Marketing Plan is to tuin the Fashionista line of the Barbie brand into a benchmark in all toy stores in the country, in addition to the specific purposes, which are intended to promote its sale in educational and health centers, in order to use dolls as a playful and educational tool in childhood. In order to achieve both forementionedobjectives, after carrying out a SWOT analysis allowing to know the situation of the line and CAME to know the actions that must be corrected and faced mainly, it is proposed to promote its communication through digital media, increasing presence in educational events and medical congresses, thus managing to consolidate the brand’s image. For this, through various actions, different activities are to be deployed and must be taken into account, the departments involved, added to the cost of each proposed action with a time axis of three years, starting in July 2023 at the end of the presentation of the same. until the end of 2025, with the possibility of renewal.     El presente trabajo analiza el medio rural en una sociedad marcada por el desarrollo tecnológico y el imperio de la globalización, para dar cuenta de su importancia en los procesos de cambio social. Se aborda el análisis del sistema económico del medio rural, con la agricultura como actividad preponderante y determinada por la Unión Europea, que también va dejando paso a otras siguiendo conceptos como la multifuncionalidad. Asimismo, se exponen las potencialidades del teletrabajo como herramienta de dinamización y de generación de riqueza proveniente de los denominados sectores cuaternarios, así como el gran reto de la erradicación de la brecha digital. Desde el punto de vista jurídico se analizan las instituciones por excelencia rurales y también otras figuras nuevas como el contrato territorial que responden al concepto de desarrollo rural sostenible. Como cuestiones de calado para la Filosofía del Derecho se han abordado la globalización, las redes de poder en tanto protagonistas del plano transnacional, el agotamiento de los Estados y el surgimiento de localismos que reivindican canales de participación democráticos, así como también se ha analizado el sistema cultural y de valores para explicar factores tales como el desarraigo entre mujeres y jóvenes.

    This study investigates how farmers, authorities, day laborers and full-time employees experience and perceive the transition from an agrarian to a more urban society in Babati, Tanzania. It is an interview-based essay, and an inductive thematic analysis method has been used to analyze the perceptions and experiences about the transition, and to profoundly examine the main environmental, social, and economic benefits and challenges that follows.The results of the study show how the economic challenges govern the development compared to the social and environmental challenges, that are less prioritized in Babati. The results also show how urbanization was perceived as something good that increases prosperity and the number of social services. The society in Babati is still very connected and dependent on agriculture. Though the study explains possible future scenarios that indicates further rifts between the producer and the consumer in the food production as agriculture is being more rationalized, with the justification of primarily solving the situation regarding food security.

    With the invention of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin in 2009, the world's first blockchain application was developed. While academic research gradually begins to investigate cryptocurrencies more closely and attempt to understand their functioning, technology is rapidly evolving and ecosystems grow exponentially. The research is still scattered and chaotic and has not produced common guidelines. Therefore, the question remains: how sustainable cryptocurrencies and their digital ecosystems are.Only a few models and frameworks take a holistic view on digital sustainability. Only two frameworks were identified that take distributed ledger technologies (blockchain) or cryptocurrencies into consideration: the three governance strategies for digital sustainability of Linkov et al. (2018) and 10 basic conditions of sustainable digital artifacts according to Stuermer, Abu-Tayeh and Myrach (2016). These two frameworks were combined into a new integrated sustainability framework for cryptocurrencies. The developed integrated sustainability framework consists of four dimensions and 12 categories.Existing secondary data, self-conducted social media interviews and practical insights gained through an ASIC mining experiment were used to fill the framework with sufficient data. It confirms Bitcoin's sustainability problems in energy consumption and scalability, highlights Ethereum's great potential as a blockchain platform and explains the higher scalability and faster payment of Ripple and IOTA.While 2017 marked the temporary peak of the cryptocurrency hype, 2018 was a transformative year in which the leading cryptocurrencies were increasingly occupying more specialised niches.

    The main aim of this work is to present a motion learning framework in order to make a Whole Arm Manipulator (WAM) robot learn a task. In addition, we will improve the motion learning algorithm by reducing the dimensionality of the problem in both general one arm cases, and two arm motions which include symmetries. In the last case, we will use the symmetry feature in order to upgrade the learning process.

    [Resumen] Realizar el seguimiento de cualquier producto es una tarea que requiere gran cantidad de recursos y esfuerzo. La aparición de Blockchain ha supuesto un gran avance en este ámbito puesto que se adapta perfectamente a las características del dato, la traza. Además, si combinamos esta tecnología con Internet of Things (IoT) conseguimos reducir el error humano y automatizar al máximo el proceso. El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado proporciona una herramienta para el diseño y despliegue de redes blockchain para el proceso de trazabilidad de cualquier tipo de producto independientemente de su domino de aplicación. Además, permite la interacción de dispositivos IoT con la red Blockchain para la consulta, modificación o incorporación de nueva información. El uso de los frameworks de la tecnología Blockchain es ciertamente complejo. También se ha desarrollado una interface web para el framework Hyperledger Frabric que simplifica considerablemente la generación de las redes Blokchain y las automatización de sus procesos. Con la finalidad de obtener un producto software de calidad, este trabajo ha seguido buenas prácticas de desarrollo y empleado una metodología ágil basada en incrementos. El resultado alcanzado es una herramienta con una arquitectura que permite la modificación y agregación de nuevas funcionalidades de forma sencilla. [Abstract] Tracking any product is a labor-intensive and resource-intensive task. The emergence of Blockchain has been a breakthrough in this area. since it adapts perfectly to the characteristics of the data, the trace. In addition, if we combine this technology with Internet of Things(IoT) we manage to reduce the human error and to automate to the the process. This Final Degree Work provides a tool for the design and deployment of blockchain networks for the traceability process of any type of product regardless of its application domain. In addition, it allows the interaction of IoT devices with the Blockchain network for consultation, modification or incorporation of new information. The use of Blockchain technology frameworks is certainly complex. A web interface has also been developed for the Hyperledger Frabric framework that considerably simplifies the generation of Blokchain networks and the automation of their processes. In order to obtain a quality software product, this work has followed good development practices and employed an agile methodology based on increments.     En este documento se detalla el desarrollo de la creación e implementación de un algoritmo de reconocimiento de lenguaje de signos en un robot cuadrúpedo, con el objetivo de que este pueda realizar tareas de movimiento adecuadas a la seña reconocida. Siendo las señas reconocibles ’VEN’, ’PARA’ y ’SIENTATE’; teniendo el robot que realizar estas acciones al reconocer la señal del usuario mediante una cámara. El sistema propuesto está compuesto por distintas partes: un sensor de cámara instalado en la parte frontal del robot para capturar imágenes del usuario, una red neuronal recurrente de tipo Memoria de Largo Corto Plazo para reconocer las acciones del usuario y una estructura de robot cuadrúpedo encargada de realizar las acciones de movimiento determinadas por el algoritmo. El desarrollo del proyecto se ha llevado a cabo con una metodología gradual. Resolviendo primero la forma de recaudar los datos necesarios para entrenar el modelo de inteligencia artificial, realizando luego la propia recolección de datos y posteriormente realizando el diseño, entrenamiento, evaluación y prueba en tiempo real del modelo. Una vez conseguido un modelo satisfactorio se ha creado una implementación de este para el robot. El resultado final del proyecto es una modelo de reconocimiento de señas funcionales, con un rendimiento alto, y una implementación en el robot que no se ha podido probar debido a los limitados recursos computacionales de los que se disponía

    The remote sensing technology is increasingly being used to study land use and vegetation cover changes and identify changes that has occur through different land use activities which may have negative impact on the sustainability of the environment, biodiversity protection and conservation. With increase in population growth rate in Sudan, there has been an increase for food crop production with agriculture playing a prominent role in livelihood security for the increasing population. The increase use of irrigation and mechanisation has brought about an increase in demand for agricultural land use in Sudan with the conversion of other land use types and vegetation for agricultural land use. This does have effect and impact on the vegetation and environment with the country highly exposed to the incidence of environmental and social hazards and disasters including drought and desertification, deforestations, floods, loss of biodiversity, ethnic conflicts and poverty. The research study work focused on agricultural land use changes in the country with the aim of investigating the agricultural land use changes that has occurred in the country from 1986 to 2002 using the remote sensing technique. This is important for agricultural land use planning and sustainability monitoring to reduce the negative impact of agricultural land use for crop production and increase long term resource use and environmental sustainability. Two remote sensing methods were used for the classification analysis to identify the land use changes namely the NDVI and the parallelepiped classification techniques. The NDVI method was used to identify the changes in the agricultural land use vegetation cover classes and determine the magnitude of changes in land area use that has occurred from 1986 to 2002 when the former and latter remote sensing images were acquired. The parallelepiped classification technique was however used to identify the aggregate agricultural land use changes in the area of study and conversion to and from other categories of land use. A qualitative analytic technique was also used to identify the possible causes of the changes that have occurred in Sudan in the study period using empirical materials. The research study result gives information on the role the remote sensing technology can play in analyzing land use cover changes for agricultural land use sustainability monitoring.

    Namen tega diplomskega dela je bil analizirati prednosti, slabosti in notranje delovanje platforme Hyperledger Fabric, ki je platforma za izgradnjo konzorcijskih omrežij na osnovi veriženja blokov. V ta namen je bil izdelan preprost prototipni sistem interneta stvari, na katerem je bila izvedena študija. Služil je kot način za predstavitev tehnologije, pa tudi za prikaz njenega delovanja v praksi. Z vzpostavitvijo prototipnega sistema interneta stvari smo si podrobneje ogle- dali postopek vzpostavitve konzorcijskega omrežja veriženja blokov in njegovo delovanje. Senzorji so bili sestavljeni iz preoblikovanih senzorjev kakovosti zraka, ki so bili opremljeni z Wi-Fi čipi, da smo jim omogočili omrežno povezljivost. Ti senzorji so nato pošiljali odčitke v omrežje računalniškemu vozlišču v bližini, ki je bilo sposobno obdelovati in prenašati podatke v verigo blokov. Vzpostavili smo dve organizaciji, tako da smo lahko simulirali sodelovanje v omrežju. Prva orga- nizacija je imela v lasti senzorje in je zapisovala njihove odčitke v verigo blokov, v zameno za plačilo pa je te odčitke organizacija 2 lahko brala. The purpose of this thesis was to analyse the advantages, disadvantages and the inner workings of the Hyperledger Fabric platform, a platform used to build consortium blockchain networks. For that purpose a simple proof of concept IoT system was designed on which the study was carried out. It served as a way to present the technology, but also to see how it works and operates in practice. By setting up the proof of concept IoT system we got a closer look at the process of creating a consortium blockchain network and how it operates. The system itself consists of remodeled air quality sensors which were fitted with ESP8266 Wi-Fi chips to give them network connectivity. These sensors sent their readings to a computer node nearby that was capable of processing and commiting the data to the blockchain. We set up multiple organizations where one owned the sensors and the other one provided access to the sensor data for a fee. We setup a simple dapp that could read and pay for the sensor data.

Se trata de la muñeca más inclusiva y diversa del mercado, dado que cuenta con muñecas con múltiples enfermedades, cuerpos de piel y tonos faciales, promoviendo la aceptación mientras ayuda desde la infancia a desarrollar una mayor conciencia de la diversidad humana y la importancia de la inclusión en la sociedad, con apenas competencia en el mercado. Este Plan de Marketing tiene como objetivo principal convertir la línea Fashionista de la marca Barbie en un referente en todas las jugueterías del país, sumado a los objetivos específicos, los cuales tienen como finalidad la promoción de su venta en centros educativos y sanitarios, para poder utilizar las muñecas como instrumento lúdico y educativo en la infancia. Para lograr ambos objetivos propuestos, tras realizar un análisis DAFO permitiendo conocer la situación de la línea y CAME para conocer las acciones que se deben corregir y afrontar principalmente, se plantea fomentar su comunicación a través de medios digitales, aumento de presencia en eventos educativos y congresos médicos, logrando por tanto consolidar su imagen de marca. Para ello, a través de diferentes acciones, se debe tener en cuenta las diferentes actividades a desplegar, los departamentos implicados, sumado al coste de cada acción propuesta con un eje temporal de tres años, comenzando en julio del 2023 al terminar la presentación del mismo hasta finalizar el año 2025, con posibilidad de renovación. A su vez, queda reflejado un plan económico financiero, donde se pueden observar los beneficios y las perdidas esperadas en su consecución con la cuenta de resultados, y un cuadro de prioridades. Por último, se expone un plan de contingencia en el caso de ser preciso, tras un periodo de 3 a 4 meses consecutivos donde las acciones propuestas no den sus frutos, por lo que cada departamento responsable tras el análisis pertinente debe focalizar las causas, para poder utilizar las diversas medidas correctoras propuestas.     El presente trabajo analiza el medio rural en una sociedad marcada por el desarrollo tecnológico y el imperio de la globalización, para dar cuenta de su importancia en los procesos de cambio social. Se aborda el análisis del sistema económico del medio rural, con la agricultura como actividad preponderante y determinada por la Unión Europea, que también va dejando paso a otras siguiendo conceptos como la multifuncionalidad. Asimismo, se exponen las potencialidades del teletrabajo como herramienta de dinamización y de generación de riqueza proveniente de los denominados sectores cuaternarios, así como el gran reto de la erradicación de la brecha digital. Desde el punto de vista jurídico se analizan las instituciones por excelencia rurales y también otras figuras nuevas como el contrato territorial que responden al concepto de desarrollo rural sostenible. Como cuestiones de calado para la Filosofía del Derecho se han abordado la globalización, las redes de poder en tanto protagonistas del plano transnacional, el agotamiento de los Estados y el surgimiento de localismos que reivindican canales de participación democráticos, así como también se ha analizado el sistema cultural y de valores para explicar factores tales como el desarraigo entre mujeres y jóvenes.

    This study investigates how farmers, authorities, day laborers and full-time employees experience and perceive the transition from an agrarian to a more urban society in Babati, Tanzania. It is an interview-based essay, and an inductive thematic analysis method has been used to analyze the perceptions and experiences about the transition, and to profoundly examine the main environmental, social, and economic benefits and challenges that follows.The results of the study show how the economic challenges govern the development compared to the social and environmental challenges, that are less prioritized in Babati. The results also show how urbanization was perceived as something good that increases prosperity and the number of social services. The society in Babati is still very connected and dependent on agriculture. Though the study explains possible future scenarios that indicates further rifts between the producer and the consumer in the food production as agriculture is being more rationalized, with the justification of primarily solving the situation regarding food security.

    With the invention of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin in 2009, the world's first blockchain application was developed. While academic research gradually begins to investigate cryptocurrencies more closely and attempt to understand their functioning, technology is rapidly evolving and ecosystems grow exponentially. The research is still scattered and chaotic and has not produced common guidelines. Therefore, the question remains: how sustainable cryptocurrencies and their digital ecosystems are.Only a few models and frameworks take a holistic view on digital sustainability. Only two frameworks were identified that take distributed ledger technologies (blockchain) or cryptocurrencies into consideration: the three governance strategies for digital sustainability of Linkov et al. (2018) and 10 basic conditions of sustainable digital artifacts according to Stuermer, Abu-Tayeh and Myrach (2016). These two frameworks were combined into a new integrated sustainability framework for cryptocurrencies. The developed integrated sustainability framework consists of four dimensions and 12 categories.Existing secondary data, self-conducted social media interviews and practical insights gained through an ASIC mining experiment were used to fill the framework with sufficient data. It confirms Bitcoin's sustainability problems in energy consumption and scalability, highlights Ethereum's great potential as a blockchain platform and explains the higher scalability and faster payment of Ripple and IOTA.While 2017 marked the temporary peak of the cryptocurrency hype, 2018 was a transformative year in which the leading cryptocurrencies were increasingly occupying more specialised niches.

    The main aim of this work is to present a motion learning framework in order to make a Whole Arm Manipulator (WAM) robot learn a task. In addition, we will improve the motion learning algorithm by reducing the dimensionality of the problem in both general one arm cases, and two arm motions which include symmetries. In the last case, we will use the symmetry feature in order to upgrade the learning process.

La aparición de Blockchain ha supuesto un gran avance en este ámbito puesto que se adapta perfectamente a las características del dato, la traza. Además, si combinamos esta tecnología con Internet of Things (IoT) conseguimos reducir el error humano y automatizar al máximo el proceso. El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado proporciona una herramienta para el diseño y despliegue de redes blockchain para el proceso de trazabilidad de cualquier tipo de producto independientemente de su domino de aplicación. Además, permite la interacción de dispositivos IoT con la red Blockchain para la consulta, modificación o incorporación de nueva información. El uso de los frameworks de la tecnología Blockchain es ciertamente complejo. También se ha desarrollado una interface web para el framework Hyperledger Frabric que simplifica considerablemente la generación de las redes Blokchain y las automatización de sus procesos. Con la finalidad de obtener un producto software de calidad, este trabajo ha seguido buenas prácticas de desarrollo y empleado una metodología ágil basada en incrementos. El resultado alcanzado es una herramienta con una arquitectura que permite la modificación y agregación de nuevas funcionalidades de forma sencilla. This Final Degree Work provides a tool for the design and deployment of blockchain networks for the traceability process of any type of product regardless of its application domain. In addition, it allows the interaction of IoT devices with the Blockchain network for consultation, modification or incorporation of new information. The use of Blockchain technology frameworks is certainly complex. A web interface has also been developed for the Hyperledger Frabric framework that considerably simplifies the generation of Blokchain networks and the automation of their processes. In order to obtain a quality software product, this work has followed good development practices and employed an agile methodology based on increments.
