Σε αυτή την εξέλιξη δεν μπορεί να μην συμμετέχει και να μεταβάλλεται το τραπεζικό και οικονομικό σύστημα. Η παροχή τραπεζικών υπηρεσιών μέσα από το διαδίκτυο αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι αυτής της μεταβολής (e-Banking). Ορισμένα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά της σταδιακής αλλαγής είναι η μετατροπή του φυσικού τραπεζικού καταστήματος από κέντρο συναλλαγών σε συμβουλευτικό κέντρο, η ενθάρρυνση των πελατών στην χρήση του ταχύτερου και οικονομικότερου καναλιού και η αύξησης της κερδοφορίας μειώνοντας ταυτόχρονα τα λειτουργικά έξοδα. To e-Banking αποτελεί πλέον αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι εξυπηρέτησης για όλα τα τραπεζικά ιδρύματα. Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία, στόχος είναι να εξετάσει την λειτουργία του e-Banking και των νέων τεχνολογιών τόσο σε θεωρητικό όσο και σε ερευνητικό επίπεδο. Η θεωρητική ανάλυση αφορά την έννοια, τις δυνατότητες, τις προκλήσεις αλλά και τα οφέλη του νέου ψηφιακού καναλιού. Η ερευνητική προσέγγιση εξετάζει κατά κύριο λόγο στην αποτύπωση της εικόνας σχετικά με την ικανοποίηση χρήσης των πελατών (χρησιμότητα, ευκολία χρήσης, αυτό-αποτελεσματικότητα) και πως αυτή επηρεάζει την πρόθεση χρήσης του e-Banking από την μεριά του πελάτη.

In the context of the development of the digital economy, the issue of digital business transformation is becoming the most urgent. Drivers of digital transformation are an important but not so well studied topic that requires special attention. The article describes the goals of digital business transformation and on this basis identifies a list of drivers of digital business transformation as driving forces that contribute to, and often force, the company to implement digital transformation. The identification of the most important and defining drivers of digital business transformation is made on the basis of a study of the corpus of sources in the national electronic resource eLibrary. The authors identified the key stakeholders in the digital business transformation processes based on the Rhombus model of M Porter defining competitive advantages of the national economy. This model characterizes stakeholders at the macro, meso, and micro levels. For the selected stakeholders, a matrix is constructed that reflects the degree of their interest and activity in the formation and use of drivers of digital business transformation. The article formulates proposals for creating conditions for digital business transformation based on the obtained matrix. The authors identified the limitations of the research and the directions and ways of further work.

Digital transformation (DT) introduces strategy-oriented and customer-centric changes, based on innovative usage of emerging information and communication technology (ICT), to implement improved or new processes in modern organizations. This paper provides insights into academic publishing trends and offers an analysis of scientific fields in which researches were made followed by a brief analysis of the most influential articles. Paper also identifies and discusses key determinants and influence factors of DT and some emerging trends and technologies, in order to explain organizational and technological context of DT. For better understanding of this mix of business and ICT related concepts, a framework of concepts on DT was developed and called Digital transformation playground (DTP). Its purpose is to get better understanding of what are the mainstream concepts of today, what other and emerging ICT or digitalization concepts in the context of DT arise, and how these technology elements impact business related concepts.

The article describes the goals of digital business transformation and on this basis identifies a list of drivers of digital business transformation as driving forces that contribute to, and often force, the company to implement digital transformation. The identification of the most important and defining drivers of digital business transformation is made on the basis of a study of the corpus of sources in the national electronic resource eLibrary. The authors identified the key stakeholders in the digital business transformation processes based on the Rhombus model of M Porter defining competitive advantages of the national economy. This model characterizes stakeholders at the macro, meso, and micro levels. For the selected stakeholders, a matrix is constructed that reflects the degree of their interest and activity in the formation and use of drivers of digital business transformation. The article formulates proposals for creating conditions for digital business transformation based on the obtained matrix. The authors identified the limitations of the research and the directions and ways of further work.

Digital transformation (DT) introduces strategy-oriented and customer-centric changes, based on innovative usage of emerging information and communication technology (ICT), to implement improved or new processes in modern organizations. This paper provides insights into academic publishing trends and offers an analysis of scientific fields in which researches were made followed by a brief analysis of the most influential articles. Paper also identifies and discusses key determinants and influence factors of DT and some emerging trends and technologies, in order to explain organizational and technological context of DT. For better understanding of this mix of business and ICT related concepts, a framework of concepts on DT was developed and called Digital transformation playground (DTP). Its purpose is to get better understanding of what are the mainstream concepts of today, what other and emerging ICT or digitalization concepts in the context of DT arise, and how these technology elements impact business related concepts.
